I believe its the tone zombeh. There's a big difference between: 'I think that ...' and 'Your thoughts are stupid'. Some can't tell the difference or feel they must belittle the opposing view. It's why I gave up debate here in the first place. Too much passive/aggressive 'I gotta win the argument' snarkiness.

Ack .... ooops lamp is not quite as good as great wonderful lamb which is what I plan to eat. Not Mom's victorian jade lamp that would probably not go over as well and then no one would let me drink cocktails anymore.

I believe the aforementioned troll thread won't last too long, since it'll likely piss off just the right people.
