Hello, I recently made an order and added it to my subscription order. Then one of the items in the order became backorder, One on One Adventures Compendium (PFRPG) Print Edition, and the whole order isn't shipping due to this.

I was wondering if I could get the backorder item moved to a different order, maybe its own order, so that my subscription order can ship? I am really excited to be getting this shipment and don't want a silly backorder item preventing me from getting these great items.

We had enough copies for your order to ship out just fine, the item went on backorder after you placed your order. There are no delays on it other than that this is a subscription shipping week which means there are tons of orders to go out. It looks like it is likely to ship today, but during the week while we ship subscriptions, we usually estimate between Monday and Friday because of the sheer volume of packages we are shipping.

Oh ok. I was just wondering cause in the order its states:

Will not ship until all backordered items arrive at our warehouse.

And the item is listed in the order as backorder, that and my subscription items haven't appeared in my downloads yet though my bank account has already been charged for the order.

Yeah, our automated confirmation emails are easily confused by changes in product status.

As the for subscription shipment, it is not a "charge" that you are see before the shipping, but an authorization. (Paizo FAQ on Authorizations) An authorization is not a charge. It is a non-monetary transaction that checks to make sure the account is valid and has funds. If for some reason we can't ship the order, that authorization disappears.

We being processing subscriptions/preorders a few business days before we begin actually physically shipping as this helps us make sure that we aren't packing orders that we won't be able to ship due to invalid accounts or payment method declines. It also gives customers who do have issues time to call their bank, add a different card, etc before we begin shipping.

Once we start shipping we charge the order. Usually the authorization is still pending and at that point, the bank will settle the charge using the authorization.

That being said, your sub has now been shipped, we've charged your account and you should be good to go with PDFs.

OK, so the money that was taken out of my account wasn't actually taken out of the account until today? I am actually a little confused on this since I wasn't basing this on the email, I was basing this on the fact that money was taken from my bank account by Paizo, and this was not a pending transaction it was one that was already taken out. But it is all good, it looks like it all went through, maybe my bank just jumped the gun on the processing of the charge since it was only yesterday that it went through. I just really enjoy getting my sub each month. It makes it like Christmas or a birthday every month. Overall I just wanted to make sure that their wasn't something wrong with my account and such since I was also having some issues with a download of a PDF earlier.

Thank you all for clarifying all of this and banishing my fears to the depths of the Darklands.
