Actually, I'm more of a whiskey and tequila woman, now. I have graduated in those, too. From Jack Daniels to... I believe the last I had was Johnny Walker Blue Label, and from Jose Cuervo to Resespado 1800 and Centravio. Mmmmm. Smooth.
Just finished off a bottle of Ardbeg and my Patron keeps me company now. Although I think the invasion of Big Liquor into Tequila over the past decade has impacted its quality.

I just get this premonition that it's gonna be something redolent of a scene from Hellraiser II. Like how Uncle Frank's hell was to be surrounded by a bunch of writhing harlots he could never touch, she'd be stuck in some kind of animal house where all the beer was Samuel Adams.
Don't you mean Budweiser?
Tal Bernard Mainz |
Meraxilar, You rolled a d20 on your attack damage last round instead of a d12. I don't know if Tark will let you change it.
Tal Bernard Mainz |
Hopefully he will as that is a nice increase in the damage. It through me for a loop though originally. I was trying to figure out which ability gave you that change in damage dice. I wasn't sure if it was some secret Rovagug trait or feature. Only thing I could think of was a 20th level monk. Man you leveled up quick.
Pollux |

Didn't anyone tell you Tal? We are all 20th level monks. This game is our second carreer.

Good Evening, my companions and I are now accepting bids on slightly used heavy armor..... Forgive me, I meant donations for our new "Save the Tal Foundation". Our heartfelt thanks go to those individuals that can help us keep him alive.
Nice people have a bad streak of luck when they hang with us. Maybe we need to push Tal over the edge ;)
Tal Bernard Mainz |
Tal won't be incilned to say much as he is too embarassed to admit he needed this much help and was this total of a failure. Lily on the other hand is going to rip every single one of you a new one once she hears about this. Just wait...oh yes...Tal is having it easy compared to what you are all going to get.

I was looking through the old posts and saw that Pollux was thinking about taking brew potion. If anything that would unhinge me more than anything drinking something he made. That being said, it would be hard to pass up a drink now and then as long as it didn't invoke images of parasites infesting the body just so I could move.
Trying to maintain nuetrality is going to be tough with you guys. I mean Pollux's unorthodox methods do get results. If that is what counts then so be it.
Caldazar |
Caldazar's string of misses in melee have now stretched to eight in a row....
Taking bets on how long this can continue.
And congratulations Nobles - we have now been in this final combat for over a month in real time. We were greeted from a tiefling bursting from the walls back on post 984 on the 16th of October. Once we complete this round it will have been 200 posts as well!
Mad props to Arael - as I think we would have been reduced to paste long ago if not for his healing.
Just venting slightly - nothing to worry about. So many single figure numbers on the dice-bot make even grown men cry at times.
Caldazar |
Sorry - make that 9 misses in a row...
Was bored and interested enough to pore through...

Aerieth Deventis |
whose? Asmodia was nearly consumed by five hundred stone of pissed off b*tch.
Could be worse - you should see what happened in our other game when a female mage decided to charm someone 500 lbs. She charmed the ogre - she's gonna get the ogre.

Pollux |
Hit points 1d6 ⇒ 6
Feat Extra Hex
Hex. And I'm torn again
Slumber is a no brainer but I consider it a little over powered. Would vastly improve Pollux's combat effectiveness though.
Cackle is also a strong choice Misfortune as a standard followed by cackle as a move action is a valid tactic.
Cauldron would give me a nice alchemy skill and the brew potion feat but I dont think my spell list supports potions very well.
Prehensile hair. I keep coming back to this one. Ten foot reach, 18 STR. Very utility useful but it is a minutes / level thing.
Any thoughts?
Bloodless |
Cackle & Misfortune is good, as is Cackle & Fortune.
Slumber is in no way shape or form an OP ability, despite looking very good at face value. It doesn't have a very solid DC and so despite being great at the beginning you will notice it starting to come up short before long as it doesn't scale all that well.
Excellent early choice though.
Tal Bernard Mainz |
Tal has been reverted back to 3rd level.
As far as hexes go Pollux, I am still a firm supporter of the cauldron hex. Just seeing the look on everyone's face as Pollux hands them some bubbling noxious steaming potion he just created.
