Apparently I didn't mention this in all my games, but last week I was gone for work and didn't have internet access. Just wanted to apologize for dropping the ball on that one. I'm back now though and getting caught up.
Though from the looks of things I'm still taking things easy and getting carted along by the others :P
@Tark, I think you didn't specifically mention to my character where the meeting point was, but from what I reckon from the open posts, it's at a bridge where there are cherry trees blossoming. I shall go from the assumption that Masamune mentioned that in response to my last question, as not to slow down the game.

Thank you for the praise. I would like to thank my father for passing down his strength, my mother for my intellect, my wife for restraining me when I need it, a demon thing with many arms for a keen longsword and Trevor for auto confirming critical threats. Thank you, thank you.
So I do what I always do when I'm too sick to think. I read comics (last time I eventually checked into the emergency room for my diabetes I read through all of Lucifer).
I'm moving and won't have internet service at my new place for a week, so my posting will probably be erratic for that time. Please bot Salm to keep the story moving as you need.
I did not specify traits figuring that I would go with none. But seeing as it's apparently been ignored (and missed by me) just go ahead and get two if you already didn't.
We have a ranger/fighter who hits like a friggin truck loaded with dynamite. A Gav working on his apotheosis to bone devil. Baron Harkonnen fusion danced with Hannibal Lecter. And myself, a handsome, intelligent, cultured swordsman and master of the summoning arts. Women want me, men want me, and I measure about 4 inches....wide.

I could play. Make the time to get my evil on(again). This is Tin Jasha, Cleric, formerly of a WotW campaign that the DM had to withdraw from and had a high player attrition to boot. Perhaps her resume might prove interesting.
Tin is a bubbly Stepford woman who delivers negative channels with a smile and occasionally a chaste kiss.
Spent all day being bored to tears at the wife's relatives house only to come home, put the baby to bed, and then help the wife panic clean the house because guests are coming tomorrow at noon. :(
Re: Reach weapons. USing reach weapons defensively is a perfectly viable tactic if you play more passively and inch forward slowly rather than immediately attack and give them a chance to 5ft shift in. Even better if you have a guy like dog smashing people who enter those adjacent squares. Sadly Noonan jumped forward and ate arrows and those initial bad rolls really messed you guys up. Looks like the ladies really need to step in and put these guys down. The preacher with a gun hasn't even attacked yet.
Dealing with soem rather nasty personal issues right now so updates may be sporadic. Would have said earlier but I'm only now at a point where I can do things with coherence.
I generally find Inheritance power can work wonders with Personnel problems. Things have become more difficult since the Marsh test but where there's a will ... Oh wait ... personal issues... never mind.
F Stormborn sorceror(2), Halfling Female [AC 13, Current HP 2/10, F+1, R+2, W+5, Init +3,Perc+3]
[Sad face] It seemed difficult near the last, almost like holding conversations with myself. Still I can't argue with the end result. Any advice on how to properly recycle a drunk Halfling? Eh the next build will be better optimized, this one was a bit of an experiment.

It seems like we lost half of the group at one point. Never really got to the point where Rhialla got to be all that effective but it was fun while it lasted.
The botfly swarm was an absolute cruelty. But only one persona actually got ghoul fever. The rough part in all this is that the AP expects you to explore the island, rescue crewmates, and then deal with plugg and scourge within the 36 hour time limit.

Having played through the first book twice now I agree. I really don't know how a group of 4 average pt buy characters if suppose to actually succeed at the task. The botfly swarm is one of the worst encounters and almost a TPK in and of itself. There are not many characters who can use AOE spells to damage the swarm and few resources if any available in the form of alchemist fires.

Our group hid in the spring, using reed pipes to breath, until the swarm moved on. We only lost one crew member to it.

It might take a bit to get him over here. Will try to grapple and drag him over. Of course if I do get a grapple on him things will already be bad for him.

mmmm bending iron bars is normally dc 24 however you inflicted 15hp with your attack that might.... nope assuming 1" thick bars gives hardness 10 15hp. You would need to do the same damage to give the bar the Broken condition and drop the break DC. So DC24 to bend: str +4, size +4, assuming aid from Cal and Mr. Shiney +4 totals +12. That means 2 tries/round to roll a 12 or better. Assuming our local Lemure fondler does not intervene. Hmmm not the best and not the worst.... Wonder what the others will do.
