My online game turned into the GM railroad shoving the great american challenge up our group's collective @ss today, and basically split the group because of a cutscene where the bad guy got the items we were hoarding from our stupid party member, then slaughtered a king without ever calling for initiative or allowing us to act at all.
And you let Asmodia be retarded and have a temper, and that's cool. And aside from some miscommunications, you let me pretty much have free reign with her, and man... I'm just so... glad someone else out there can DM well.

The fine is inversely proportional to how happy people are about the assault.
Tal cares if it lands him in the stocks so he can't provide for Lily. Gold and lashings are acceptable. Anything that affects Lily is not. Not the best answer, but the only one Tal could really give as to how he would act.

Will work on Siera's equipment, but I don't think there's anything of big importance there. Two questions, though:
1) Could I use the mechanics of shuriken to represent a set of throwing knifes? I'd like Siera to have a secondary ranged attack, but shuriken are too eastern for her concept.
2) I'd like her to have a simple locket with a small portrait of her mother, the only memento she has of her previous life. How much would that cost?
For the Besmara's Bastards group; hope we have some fun walking the plank! Feel free to check up my sheet and recommend anything. I've envisioned Siera as a down-to-earth very physical person, and my sheet reflects that. I have actually two free feats which I don't know how to use. I need Weapon Focus and Power Attack but was baffled by that whole "Prerequisite: BAB +1" nonsense. Thought about the Dual Talent alternate racial trait. Suggestions?

As a person who has never tried sword swallowing, I personally can't comment on it, but I do know when someone offers me to 'eat steel', I generally decline the offer.
IRT climbing the rigging, I made assumption/climb check to catch herself on failures greater than 5. I must confess, I never rolled a negative result before. Did the crew grease the rope prior? But I digress.
By the climb rules if you fail by four or less (between 6 and 9 on this DC) you make no progress. On 5 or less you fall. 10 or better you climb.
On another note I dont mind the cursing as pretty much the entirety of the npc's in this book are described as "curses alot". I imagine there will be an F carpet bombing at some point.
