Well its going swimmingly now, so much more angst free!
I supopse the key point is not to bring a whole wealth of personal problems and drama to an AP that already gives you enough of them in spades.
The other key point is that most of the Cause was really about doing over Hellknights, which really isn't the point. Its like trying to pretend you are a big thinking political movement when all you are really doing is running about screaming 'F*** the Po-lice'.

Hello all,
I am Iris, Bejis wife (that is, in real life). He told me to sign on as him and let you know that he is in the hospital at the moment. He needs to stay for two weeks or so and will probably not be online much -if at all- during that time.
Well damn. Wish him the best for us please.

Good luck Bejis, wish you a quick recovery or at least a laptop to game with while in the hospital.

Petronicus, if you plan on doing any shopping, Tal will throw in 50gp for you to purchase a scroll of knock and put it in your Spellbook. Might be an excellent spell if we are snooping around a mayor's manor.

Hi Iris!
Sorry to hear the chap isn't well!
I remember a while back being in hospital getting my gallbladder removed, most boring time ever.
I wish him speedy recovery, and hope he manages to get out a little ahead of time to spend Christmas at home.

I like to think the Nobles are more about running about screaming "F*$# EVERYTHING!" while the city burns around them.

I figure most of the Harpies group finds it difficult to picture a muscular somewhat slender woman, so I've searched for a long time for visual references for Siera (oh, how I wish I could unsee some things).
But seeing as I had a lotta trouble finding fantasy images of muscular woman fighting barehandedly (go figure) I've turned to more modern sources.
Beware, photos of a woman in revealing clothes ahead (I guess NSFW):
Photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4, photo 5, photo 5.
Those are all from a single woman named Pauline Nordin.
Finally got around to seeing the pics as well as some others of Pauline Nordin, damn! Siera's a fine piece o' badass pirate!

Well that's cause the visual Charisma is about a 14 but Siera's mouth nets her about a 6, averages out to a 10. The girl alot of people would think was hot if it weren't for the fact that she swears like thier dad and would probably fight you over the last beer.

*nod* like the old 2nd edition optional system were the stats were split into two category's. I actually think CHA was split between attractiveness and personality? *shrug* I agree though, that's a good assessment.

Yeah, Charisma and appearance have a pretty dysfunctional relationship in D&D/Pathfinder. I've always figured in Pathfinder you could have a beautiful, low Charisma, cold, haughty noble woman, while mayhaps the tavern girl is a little round around the edges, lacks a tooth but has a big smile and knows how to cheer up a room.

Low comeliness and high Charisma? Two words: Eleanor Roosevelt.

Look at history. Few would even attempt to claim that Napoleon or the guy who ran Germany in the 30's were particularly attractive, but boy did they have charisma. How else do you convince that many people to do crazy, if not downright evil, things.

Not to rush anything but Tal is ready for the dinner. Reson I am saying this is I am busy the next day and a half and may not be available for posts. Don't want you waiting on me for a go ahead.

Perhaps he could form a ghost actors group.

Why can I see Sclivian start in on a side commentary to some Chelaxian noble about fees and surcharges just as we are getting the stuffing kicked out of us by some three headed monster named Fluffy at the mayors house. Drama, carnage and death interrupted by the doldrums of lawyers and politics.
Keep going Sclivian.

You ruffians always could use an extra dose of bureaucracy.

Mumbata, I just started to read Moby Dick (not the cliff notes nor televised version). And I think you've got the language down or very close. The civilized cannibal is just as hard to read in the book as yours.
And who says Pathfinder doesn't expand the mind, I only checked out Moby Dick from the library for character research. :-) Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

In roughly twelve hours I will willingly subject myself to an eight hour period of physical exertion, sleep deprivation and general sanity slippage.... that is to say I'm flying down to Australia with two kids on a red eye. I shall be doing the christmas thing, familial visitation thing and even attending a ten year University re-union... which should be interesting to say the least.
That will mean that I shall not be my usual self when it comes to internet connectivity and PbP response. I should still get online here and there, but it's unlikely to be every day - and even when I do time will be short so you will have to endure a lesser amount of my usual sesquipedalian loquaciousness. If at any time you feel I'm holding things up, feel free to DMPC... or you know have Caldazar sulk about the fact he's not allowed to kill nobles.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Krazy Kwanzaa or even Positive Emotion Non-Religious Holiday Vacation Day... depending upon your own predisposed proclivities. I look forward to further electronically shared adventures in the post-Mayan calendar New Year.
