This is how I think Mumbata would look:Mumbutu

F Stormborn sorceror(2), Halfling Female [AC 13, Current HP 2/10, F+1, R+2, W+5, Init +3,Perc+3]

Looks good, Mumbata. Excellent visuals all around.

@Mumbata Excellent picture, but you got to be rocking the dreadlocks now though!

male Human Rogue (Pirate) 1

Da dwarf be dead on. Dem dreadlocks be irie Mumbata!

(Male Mwangi Alchemist (Vivisectionist, Beastmorph) 2 AC 14/11/13 / HP 18/18 / F +5 R +4 W +3 / Init. +1 / Perc. +7)

@Rorgrim, I totally agree with you, however the dreadlocks are very Jamaican, while the facial tattoos are more Maori. I couldn't find a avatar picture that had both. I think you get the idea though.

Male Orc Expert 5

"Hey our punishments aren't cruel and inhuman enough what should we do to really hammer the point home?"

"I know let's make use of all those useless barnacles on the bottom of our ship will drag someone underneath our boat and against those sharp hard barnacles!"

"Brilliant! Get the rope!"

(Male Mwangi Alchemist (Vivisectionist, Beastmorph) 2 AC 14/11/13 / HP 18/18 / F +5 R +4 W +3 / Init. +1 / Perc. +7)

Ah the keelhaul, not the worst way to kill a man, but its up there allright.

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

Too bad none of you named yourselves Barnacle Bill - then you could have tested them out.

Female Human Cleric 10 HP: 68/68 | AC 21/13/18 | Fort +9, Ref +5, Will +11 (+12 vs Charm/Compulsion)| Init: +3 | Perc: +9 | Channel 6/7 (5d6)

I have a question about the rum ration. Itseems to make no sense that a clkeric of the goddess of pirates would lose their abilities for drinking rum, which is a pirate staple, yet wisdom damage essentially cripples a rum drinking cleric.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Straight faced answer: "Since when were bein a pirate fair lassie?"

male Human Rogue (Pirate) 1

Hohoho! and what pirate worth his salt dont be wanting to drink rum! Blasphemy of the highest sort, it is.

seriously though if you read the description of the rum ration the whole point of it is too keep the pirates happy and stupid to keep them in line.

Male Orc Expert 5

Well let me put it to you this way. The book had originally had the rum ration deal 1d4 con damage.

One gives a temporary penalty to what is likely your highest stat and at this point does not officially cripple you until it dips below ten.

The other kills you.

What kind of turpentine rum are they serving? Need to get my hands on the good stuff!

Okay - Riven, you are beyond hilarious. It's not just role playing, it's true entertainment. Great work man, keep it coming.

Female Human Cleric/4

With less than three days to go until I see my husband again after six months and being the procrastinator I am, I'm unlikely to get anything of quality up before I leave. Brain just isn't in the right place.

Assume Asmodia is scoping out the cute brunette if he makes himself available, or his date's boobs or something, and that she's actively trying to be more agreeable to the party at dinner but still exercising and encouraging caution even with the Message spell going.

F Stormborn sorceror(2), Halfling Female [AC 13, Current HP 2/10, F+1, R+2, W+5, Init +3,Perc+3]

Lorn had it coming. The worthless layabout.

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

What they are serving on the boat as "rum" is to rum as Doppelbock or Eisbock is to beer. Only without any of the redeeming qualities.

Female Human Fighter (Unarmed Fighter) 1

It's been a really busy day for me and I finally got home. Gonna post first thing tomorrow.

Away from comp all day will post soon or in the morning

Your not here for your physical strength! We've got your back! I just can't wait to crack some stunned skulls after you scream at them! :)

F Stormborn sorceror(2), Halfling Female [AC 13, Current HP 2/10, F+1, R+2, W+5, Init +3,Perc+3]

You peeked!!! I feel all violated...exposed. [pulls clothes around to cover skin] You lech! My mudda always told me there was a reason no one ever saw a female dwarf. They dug for cover.

And 'tis a good thin' I did. If I didna know ye had some strength, I would be havin' already thrown yer weak arse overboard.

LOL. I read everybody's character sheet while we were being recruited! I figured that was part of the deal!

Very much appreciated! Im enjoying playing Riven. What a great AP!

Female Half-Elf Witch (Sea Witch) 2

Just giving you a heads-up that at the end of this month (July 31), I'll be leaving town for two weeks for work. I don't know the status of an available internet connection while I'll be gone, or how much free time I'll have, but I'll post as able.

After that, I'll only be back for a day before heading to Gencon afterwards, getting back home late the 19th. So between those two dates I'll be sporadic at best, possibly unavailable. Sorry for any inconveniences this may impose.

Back and catching up on pbp. Ready to enter the acid pit. Hopefully Meraxilar can protect the rest of us somehow.

Thanks for not killing me while I am gone Petronius. No travel plans in the near future so ready to kick this plays butt.

Trying not to get too far ahead of myself. Rand will spend the night singing and carousing, while using his Sea Shanty special ability to help everyone overcome their fatigue (especially himself).

what, just because I'm able to my character you think i would kill yours while I was playing him???

;-)

I'm good, but not that good.

Male Orc Expert 5

I'll update the games later tonight to give people a chance to do whatever before I push forward (if you ahve not posted your night actions yet in the S&S games i'll just assume you went to bed.

Male Orc Expert 5

I think if Calseinica manages to survive the play in the nobles game she's going to turn into an alcoholic. Or Charlie Sheen. One of the two.

I'm not giving her high odds... in fact I'm strongly thinking of making her wait till last to come out of the beast's belly...

Big C, little g...

Male Orc Expert 5

If it shrinks any further N might decide to pop in step on g and steal is girlfriend. But hey, you're best friends with a cleric of rovagug so this is hardly surprising.

Male Orc Expert 5

Why is it that I really want to see the pirates group go through the six fold trial?

Maybe it's the image of Mugwort playing the part of Krona.

And Tal thinks he has it bad.

If Asmodia was CN that b*tch would have been dead first time she acted up in the play.

Maybe in her downward slide, she'll get to that point. And it will be glorious. I'm thinking something like the penetration scene from Kill Bill. :P

male Human Rogue (Pirate) 1

Ouch...Riven definitely needs to work on that Intimidate skill.

Male Human, dual talent Hedgewitch 3

And Kess moves to the front in the keelhaul derby.

Ooo this is gonna be bad.

Female Gnome Druid 1

"A Derby!? Pollux! err.... I mean B#@+$!#s!" (proper spelling of Bollux is filtered). ;)

Everytime I hear the word derby it makes me think of Larry the Cable Guy's commercial, when he's driving in the demolition derby. Just saying. Damage is non-lethal for Storm Burst btw.

Male Human, dual talent Hedgewitch 3

Yes, but the fact that they can say that you struck first, and that they have witnesses to back that up does not look good at all. You just gave them an excuse.

Oh well tanks for taking the hit. They were going to get one of us you just grabbed the short straw.

Or I could be wrong and you may make them run. I tend to a dark outlook though.

Well, we're in it now! And I want it noted that the goblin was not responsible for starting the brawl! ;)

Female Gnome Druid 1

Hmm.... ok.... Goblin too chicken to start trouble..... Noted. ;)

Darn right! Plus, Goblin too busy picking pockets...

Male Human, dual talent Hedgewitch 3

I on the other hand, am far far too chicken. Good on you for the pocket picking. That is a keelhauling offence there. I think the gnome and the goblin are neck and neck at this point.

Female Gnome Druid 1

Us smallfolk like big troubles.

Male Human, dual talent Hedgewitch 3

I shall watch your future carrers with interest.

Good job though. Making trouble is always a good idea in adventures. It keeps things moving.

F Stormborn sorceror(2), Halfling Female [AC 13, Current HP 2/10, F+1, R+2, W+5, Init +3,Perc+3]

Smallfolk=big trouble. Noted. I seem to be behind the curve thus far. I shall amend my lack of effort.

We have a certain image to maintain, you see. Small=MIGHTY!

Noooo! We need to do this the smart way!

Why do things the smart way when you can do them the pirate way?!?

Mugwort the Goblin wrote:

True! BTW, I love your goblin!

It's only a keelhaulin if you kill someone.

Granted if you are the one getting killed this is a moot point.
