Oh man Tark! I have been following that pbp for the last few months and read all the posts start to finish. I would LOVE to join you guys. Thinking Oracle of the Heavens. Probably Gnome. (And I can be a total team player Bloodless)
To elaborate Abit, I used to be able to go home for a few hours during work layovers do I had more time to kill. My old employer decided to go out of business without much notice beyond rumors. Our union placed us at another company with same pay/benefits (thankfully) but a tad too far to go home on a daily basis so I have Abit less time to post.
I like the Feversea crew, lots of potential in that group and thanks so much for liking Kess, I'm still trying to find footing with her and the group beyond the Mugwort "relationship". :) It's been fun to see it play out so far.
There's always an adjustment period at a new company, I'm thinking things will level out into a routine flow soon, then ill have more time for sure. I just don't want to hold up the game for everyone else.
I can add a vote of confidence in Petronicus, or I can try and keep up at my usual pace (I'm ok with botting me if I'm too slow).
Sounds like you have it under control and there is no need to give it up...like all things it life, it just needs a little time. If it does get to be to much then at least you know you have options and won't leave the party in a bind.
Are you going to check? Rat. At least we think so. Rat
Tark. Ruling requested on summon swarm. Description states swarm attacks all creatures in area but later states the swarm will move off if no living creatures remain in the area. Does this mean a swarm will ignore tasty tasty undead?
No. BUT considering the defenses that these thigns have (and you should know they have having fought skeletons before) little slashy mouths might not do anything to them.

Swarm damage is technically untyped other than as non-magic and in the single rat, bat or spider the bite attack is b/s/p so weapon type dr is bypassed. Quite happy to stick with Engorge Tal as an action but thought something different would be fun. 'Sides the visual of a troll skelle covered in rats would be worth the price of admission.

Hmm - with this undead discussion and one player in one campaign taking cavalier levels, I suddenly have this urge to play an evil Cavalier who rides a skeleton horse. That would be fun.

Fair enough. I'll let it pass.
Danke. So as not to over-strain credulity I will not use the spider swarm. I mean it could be rationalized but it is a tad silly.
and Aerieth the undead riding cavalier would be awesome. Would it still be his/her horse even if it is undead?
Yeh - But so far, I do not see Order of the Dead Horse as one of the available orders. I suppose that the DM could allow you to modify the Beast Rider archetype.

This needs to exist!! It could have "Beating a dead horse" as a class feature. Bonus points for working a monk reference in there somehow.

Contrary to popular belief, if you are an evil Cavalier, or a Sohei Monk, nothing beats a dead horse.
That endearing scene was so good that I think I need to take a shower... i feel dirty....and maybe some pepto
+1....
Cal was a little too good at that Brokeback scene. I vote he gets a +10 to his perform check in this act. :)
@Pollux love the Swarm idea.
On a side note, not sure if I used Spiritual Weapon in the play at all so I'm using it now. Going back and pruning through a bazillion pages of this PbP would be hard to do while I'm at work. Apologies, I'll keep better records on my iPhone starting next combat. :)
The rebel's kissing scene was incredibly tame by comparison. And it was with two manlier men even. I can't imagine Bejis and Bloodless inviting one another over dinner.
By the way just posting here for repetitions sake the Rebls have until the end of the weekend to select the new warm bodies to join them in finishing the second book.
Also I will update the pirates tomorrow. I have a wizard beating to set up there and a fat man getting the crap kicked out of him by a relatively small woman in the other game.
I'll be going to the Spiel convention this weekend, so I probably will not be able to post my thoughts until Sunday. If this is a conflict timing wise (and I am looking forward to continue), I'm fine with letting Bloodless and Aerieth choose.

Regretfully holding off on swarm for now. The rat swarm entry explicitly calls out warm blooded targets. Witches never get anything fun.
Note: In the event Pollux lives to see 7th level Castor will become a Ratling. Taken straight from Lovecraft, gotta love it.
Btw, thanks for offering to pick up the slack in Feversea should I fall behind.
No worries...at least you can breath easier knowing if it does get to be to much you won't have to leave the group in a hole.

Thanks for the kind words and mild stomach discomfort at Caldakrona's piece de resistance. Not the first time I've played a woman on stage...
Seems to me that this time around you "played" the man. I wouldn't be surprised if Tal rinses his mouth with acid before he kisses Lily... and I can't wait for the next time Merax is around Tal & Lily, together.

Mind you DM fiat is always available for insane psychotic witches, but I was reading this:
"A ratling who serves as a familiar gains the ability to use commune once per week as a spell-like ability. A ratling can serve a spellcaster as a familiar if the spellcaster has the Improved Familiar feat. In order to gain a ratling familiar, the spellcaster must be chaotic evil and at least 7th level. A spellcaster with a ratling familiar typically carries numerous scrolls on his person for the ratling to access during combat."
Not that it makes much difference as I am pretty sure the Gorum controlled chaotic land that the Nobles is seeking to create is slightly different than the Desnan butterfly land that the Rebels is pushing for.
Actally since you're chaotic evil now you are required to burn any official forms and eat the face of the man giving the application.
In other news Ryzern, the suicidal one legged coward is now about to get into a one handed stick fight versus Forrest Gump playing the part of the Ultimate Warrior.
