52 hours! Yuck!

Yeah,Closed on the house, went home, packed all night, then got the truch the following day arounbd noon, me and one other person loading a 27ft truck, then my wife drove to the new house, we unloaded till 10 am the following day, then I went to work a 12 hr shift.

Tirion Jörðhár, still there?

I've been having problems recently with my PbP threads not showing up under focus, maybe he's having the same problem.

Hey guys, I'm going out of town for the weekend with my wife, I should have Internet on my phone but in case I lose it, I wanted you to know about my absence.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Heading away in the am for some relaxing chill time - may or may not have internetz... so just posting last posts for the night, back in about 36 or so hours guys!

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Caldazar will be flying out of Malaysia and back into Australia on 28th September and will be visiting family for a couple of weeks through to the 15th of October. While I should still be able to check in periodically it will likely cause a few interruptions and my posts may involve a little more brevity than usual.

If needed at any point feel free to keep things moving with a DMPC :)

Don't worry caldazar, we'll keep you alive till you get back.

Male Orc Expert 5

I made no such promise.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Pfft - I'm at one hp... a well aimed insult from the front row would probably knock me over at present. Either that or the blowback from my stupid morningstar that seems to just be having fun bouncing ineffectually off the rubbery skin of the lemures.

Fire Resist 10 Human Cleric 6,HP 40/40,Init+5F6R4W9,Per10AC18/11/17

Or maybe a cutting remark from the director.

Male Human Barbarian 5

Are we waiting on anything in particular in Rebels, or just some free time for Tark?

m Human Ftr 9 HP:110/110 AC*:33,23,30 Saves:10/8*/9* CMB: +19 CMD: 38 Init: +3 Perc: +14 Link to the spreadsheet

Pollux are you there for the nobles as well? We need our lazarod front and center please.

Male Orc Expert 5

Yes, sadly PWO has been having internet issues for a while now. Was waiting to see if he posts tonioght or not before proceeding wiht Caldazar's murder.

Rat, probably

I am back and rolling.

Thanks for not killing the monkey out of hand.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Whatever you do.... Caldazar doesn't want to taste cloves again....

Welcome back to Castor and his meat-puppet Pollux.

Male Orc Expert 5

One gets the feeling that Pollux and Cruxcarr would have gotten along famously.

Male Orc Expert 5

So for those of you wondering why I've slowed down part of it is that I simply have quite a bit to do and a lot of work in reality to do as well.

So I've more or less resolved to go at a slower pace to keep things from fallin completley out of control. The pirates will pick back up again as I think I may have found a way to speed through the tedium of constant fortitude saves against fatigue. I think the players already have a good sense that the work here is hard and tedious and the punishments for laziness are harsh and cruel. So I'll get around that.

Currently I'm trying to finish the first part of a small setting book called Dragonholme. Essentially the setting is a planar trade city ruled by dragons of all colors (except coppers and whites). With all the interesting bits this entails.

VC - Sydney, Australia

We truncated the day/night/fort after a while, ok tabletop mechanic but was a draaaaag in PbP after a while. Seems like a good move so far!

Quiet understandable. It's just hard to tell if we are being waited on when the blank stare across the game table is missing.

Male Orc Expert 5

Oh Caldazar and Meraxilar and your forbidden bromance.

Male Human (Chelish) Cleric 4 AC: 17/10/17 HP: 30

There is no bromance! He is merely a lamb being guided to the.... umm, we'll see now won't we?"

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Caldazar still treasures the silver necklace that Merax gifted him back in the sewer. It was a sweet moment, the jewels having just been rescued from a pile of rat corpses and we were covered with slime and the scent of roasted torbles in the air... brings a mist to the eyes with the remembrance.

"Unmake your inhibitions Merax, give in to the carnal thoughts that I know gnaw at the prison in which you hold your emotions" drawing the Rovagugian close in and urging "Give me your Rough Beast"

Rat, probably

Hey Nobles! We need an audit of healing resources. Please post any wands/potions you are carrying and the charges. I would hate to run out just now.

The monkey has 3 CLW potions.

m Human Ftr 9 HP:110/110 AC*:33,23,30 Saves:10/8*/9* CMB: +19 CMD: 38 Init: +3 Perc: +14 Link to the spreadsheet

Out of Everything. Just have my spells left. Oh wait thats right, no spells. Okay still the same, no healing here as I used it on pollux right away.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Caldazar has a wand with 5 charges and four 1st level spells that he hasn't cast yet. Also has two more CLW potions. Merax has the relatively full CLW wand with him (40 odd charges from memory).

If anyone here is interested in running a campaign, I am in a Serpent's Skull campaign with pretty good players. We were about 3 weeks in and then the DM just switched the campaign to inactive and said he did not want to deal with the issues. Issues that we have all seen a dozen times on PbP. If anyone is interested, or know someone who wants to DM a Serpent's Skull campaign, please let me know.

Here is the OOC thread for the now inactive campaign.

Serpent's Skull

We have a mwangi elf wizard (me), a vanara ranger, a human cleric, and a human bard(archeologist). If someone wants to take over, we can play with 4 players, this group is decently balanced I think, or pick up 1-2 more.

As I said, we had only played for about a month, so very little has happened and we could easily restart if necessary.

Male Orc Expert 5

Ah just imagine a young master scourge. Eyes to the horizon and back to the wind. Suddenly all your teeth knocked out by solid ship worthy oak and a realization of just where you are and what you're doing.

Male Orc Expert 5

Right skipping the labor stuff. You guys have a good understanding how horrid it is to work on an old timey ship. Particularly since I know at least one of you works on a new timey ship.

SO. I think I'll still call for daytime/nighttime actions and deal with some of the rolls myself to save time. Also I think it's time Scourge and Plugg amped up the love. The love of you being in pain that is.

Male Orc Expert 5

Also anyone know what happened to Hu5tru?

Female Half-Elf Witch (Sea Witch) 2

I play in her Jade Regent game, and she hasn't been on there for awhile either. Not sure what happened to her.

M Elf HP:33/33, AC:19/T:15/FF:14 - Percep: +10(LL Vis) F:+4/R:+9/W:+3 CMD: 20, Spd: 30ft, Init: +6 Rogue 4 (Pregen)

Broke up with Bloodless, left lovelorn and in angst and disappeared?

Male Orc Expert 5

Welp, I have an idea on how new players can be introduced to that game. And I might try it. I dont mind botting levash to see through this but botting two characters just tells me to find more people.

So I'll give her till the end of the weekend.

Male Half-Elven Swashbuckler Lvl1 HP 9/9 INIT+4 AC 16 CMB+2 CMD+16 Rapier (+5 to Att) 1d6+2/18-20x2 Short Bow (+4 to Att) 1d6+2/x3 Saves: F+0 R+6 W+0

could always find a way to combine the ships, we lost one over here.

Male Orc Expert 5

yeah but that doesnt bother me. I already took more than what I wanted. so the loss of one there doesn't bug me much. However 3 people out of a 5 person party about to go into a notoriously high body count section makes for an unfun time.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Yeah, that doesn't bode well, especially given that we have been fighting our way along Struggle Street in some of the 'easier' sections :P

Male Orc Expert 5

Really? Compared to the nobles group you've walked all over sections that involved combat.

Fire Resist 10 Human Cleric 6,HP 40/40,Init+5F6R4W9,Per10AC18/11/17

Love to join since your game loks awesome but am already in a CoT game.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Meh, maybe I'm just used to a bit more up front brutality... wasn't very convinced by the last outing! Lets see what happens though.

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

Why do we need another? We have a Ranger, a Barbarian, and a useless Wizard/Rogue.

Ok, come to think of it, a real caster and a real divine type might be helpful.

Male Human, dual talent Hedgewitch 3

Tark. Could you add the Rum rules to the campaign info page? It is a pain to keep looking them up.

Just to pipe in: I'm really enjoying playing Mugwort and this game in general. Yay piracy!

Male Half-Elven Swashbuckler Lvl1 HP 9/9 INIT+4 AC 16 CMB+2 CMD+16 Rapier (+5 to Att) 1d6+2/18-20x2 Short Bow (+4 to Att) 1d6+2/x3 Saves: F+0 R+6 W+0

I'm really enjoying you playing Mugwort too, its very entertaining.

Sorry I've been a tad busy as of late (new company, new workload). Apologies to the Feversea crew. Regretfully, I think I can only handle one PbP at the moment. Would it be possible to replace me in the Skull and Shackles game?
Again sorry, I don't want to inconvenience anyone. :(

Male Human, dual talent Hedgewitch 3

But if we loose Kess who will knife the goblin in the dog watch and toss his corpse over the side? You can't expect Scourge to do everything?

Seriously though. Sorry to see you go. Kess is a good character, and one of our reliable damage dealers

Male Human (Chelaxian) Wizard(Enhancement)/4

If you are going to recruit another player then i'd be willing to make a character to toss into the ring. I'm even open to creating a class that the party needs. I'm just rotting away in CoT :-p

Shhh, you are only a figment.

Mind you the ship could use a good figment or two.

I'd guess we need a divine caster most. We have a wizard, a rogue, a fighter/rogue (the swashbuckler) and a gunslinger (me).

PS I would like to echo the missing Kess idea. I mean, who else will Mugwort eventually fall in love with and make terrible, terrible goblin love to? And what about the children? The abominable children... Half-gnome/half-goblin monstrosities...

I am Castor the Rat and I approve this message

To elaborate Abit, I used to be able to go home for a few hours during work layovers do I had more time to kill. My old employer decided to go out of business without much notice beyond rumors. Our union placed us at another company with same pay/benefits (thankfully) but a tad too far to go home on a daily basis so I have Abit less time to post.

I like the Feversea crew, lots of potential in that group and thanks so much for liking Kess, I'm still trying to find footing with her and the group beyond the Mugwort "relationship". :) It's been fun to see it play out so far.

There's always an adjustment period at a new company, I'm thinking things will level out into a routine flow soon, then ill have more time for sure. I just don't want to hold up the game for everyone else.
I can add a vote of confidence in Petronicus, or I can try and keep up at my usual pace (I'm ok with botting me if I'm too slow).
