character build guidelines are Here Ultrafennec. you can take a 25 point buy instead of rolling and two traits.

welcome on board!

Still need two more.

i'll propose a female japanese rogue using this alias for squad 1

Books used Core, APG (scout archtype) and Adventurers Armory (Heirloom weapon trait and spring loaded wrist sheath)

she was transferred into squad 1 from the 'stealth force'. which is a 'black ops' unit specialized in intellegence and assassination.

As one of the Co-GMs of this game, and one who knows of some of your shenanigans I will say this:

If you are going to be playing in this game, be on your good behavior and keep your strange sexual freakiness out of the game. This is a bit of an adult game, sure, but more due to violence and dark tones than anything else.

As for your character, sounds good, though I do not know what all is in the squad still. Bear in mind that originally squad 1 was our "stealth force" tho I do not know if that'll be it's role going forward.

sorry. i didn't know about squad 1 being the original stealth force. i figured they were 2 seperate things

she will not be freakishly sexualized. this character was not designed as a seductress. but as a spy and an assassin.

i toned back her gear, but she is still 10 gold pieces above the average allotment in gear. i hope that is not too bad. a 10 gold piece difference shouldn't be too bad. that is just the extra cost of the mundane package. Chain shirt and thieves tools are expensive.

i tend to be used to starting with maximum starting gold rather than average.

We have found a magus and an alchemist thus far aside from Shuriken's rogue. Shuriken, the character looks alright to me. Given that two of the previous characters included a bloody butcher, and someone who infused life into dolls, characters on the fringe of what many games might be comfortable with isn't exactly new territory for the Kings. Watch the rping a bit until you know how the rest of the squad will react, as I, too, am familiar with how you can sometimes get, but otherwise, the only thing that jumps out is that a kimono in Isger is likely going to stand out more than other garb would. I don't say this to make you change it, but to make sure you understand that in social situations, it will likely be a factor, as it will make you easier to distinguish from everyone else. Aside from those concerns and comments, you are clear to start, though a full profile with all your abilities listed would be helpful.

i listed the names of the abilities by category. i figure that i need not copy and paste the full descriptions.

this is my profile, i listed the abilities inside spoilers.

My Rogue

If you get into less commonly known abilities or feats, a full description would be helpful, but you're fine with what you have now.

Welcome to the Blood Hawks, and just so you're comfortable, we actually are all built with maximum starting gold. So no worries on that front. Have fun!

i fixed her equiment accordingly. now she has 10 throwing knives. 5 in each sleeve.

a better backpack and better quality rope.

If the character is not "Freakishly Sexualized" then why does it state in her Physical description that "her chest is as flat as a plank of wood"? That in no way helps the description and is, to be honest, a tad creepy. But hey... I am just the awesome Jax Fury of Squad 2. I ain't no high faluting Officer or nothin so what I say don't count. -Shrugs-

if i really wanted to sexualize this character, i would have wrote a lot more explicit details than just a rough breast size.

I wouldn't really call that "freakishly sexualized" myself. I've seen descriptions of bust size for female characters in almost every single fantasy work I've ever read, even if said character is awkwardly young. It seems to be part and parcel of the genre, and calling the character out as flat-chested isn't IMO sexualized or freakish, it's just part of the body description. Male characters can receive the same treatment if the writer spends time on developed musculature or specific groupings of muscles...or bums.

Now, you CAN do it in a more veiled manner, which is perhaps more tasteful to some. For example, I mention in Zeljka's profile that she keeps her bosom bound when wearing her armor because it'd get in the way, which implies they're big enough to need binding while swinging an axe wildly, but doesn't call it out as such.

Just my 2 cents.

Eh... Do what you want with your character. It isn't anything to me. Friendly warning though... If you go TOO wrong the Crimson Queens may kill and cook you. They are weird like that. Enjoy the game and welcome to the Blood Hawks!

Oh do not get me wrong... I am not prudish. I just like to keep such things separate and to their own area. I am as open as the next Gorum worshiping, Crossbow wielding, Tower Shield having Carnie but I just think that, especially in the case of a character who is seen as no more than a child, (Yes I know technically in the books Adulthood is 15 and the character is 17) such information is needless.

But then again... -Shrugs- It is just me. I wish you both well in the Crimson Queens! :) Pop by Squad 2's fire sometime and see what a real Squad looks like! ;)
