Aldori Dueling Build

Advice

Gonna make myself an Aldori duelist build for an upcoming game. Does anyone have any tips on it? I'm thinking currently Fighter 5 then into duelist. Just a quick sketch of early levels.
Str-12
Dex-18
Con-13
Int-14
Wis-8
Cha-12

1-EWP(Aldori), Weapon Finesse, WF(Aldori), Sword Scion, Performer(for rp reasons
2-Dodge
3-Mobility
4-WS(Aldori)
5-Spring Attack
6-First duelist level. Aldori Dueling Mastery (From the Inner Sea Primer. The new one)

So.... thoughts, suggestions, deconstructions... hate?

Just one note. Aldori Dueling Mastery requires Quick Draw as a prereq. (at least on the pfsrd it does. I don't know if it's updated or not).

That said, make sure you check out the Aldori Swordlord Fighter Archetype. It's not a big bonus, but the first 5 levels will get you a decent benefit with your sword.

I also recommend shying away from Spring Attack, unless you really want the mobility. It's nice, but the benefits of using an Aldori Dueling Sword apply mostly when full-attacking. Even if you go into Duelist, you'll still need those full attacks to use features like Parry.

What race do you plan on being? I am assuming human.

I would recommend the free hand fighter arche-type if you want the master of dueling theme. I assume that is the theme you are going for?

Sounds like fun. I'm playing a fighter/duelist scimitar wielder with dervish dance, whirlwind attack and disarm. There is one problem though, you need BAB +6 to qualify for Duelist, so you'll want to go 6 levels of fighter then go into Duelist.

Also, Davor is correct, Quick Draw is needed for Aldori Dueling Mastery, luckily another level of fighter gets you the needed feat.

Good point. And yeah, I guess spring attack doesn't work too well. So replace with Quick Draw, which I forgot was a prereq, and then go alodori mastery at 6, then into duelist at 7, as per what Talon said.

Orange one, while I am planning on going with that theme, free hand fighter seems to focus too much on disarming for my taste, and the build I have may be able to disarm, but only later, after getting Combat Expertise and Improved Disarm. Same problem I had with the Aldori swordlord archetype. Both seem good later, but I'm only taking 6 fighter levels so I don't get much in those that I liked. I was thinking of going pure fighter, but feel free to talk me out of it.

Oh. Definitely go pure fighter if you aren't interested in the "Dueling" aspect of the archetypes. That's really all they give you. Yes, you get the bonus to AC while full-attacking with a Aldori Dueling Sword, but the bonus is pretty negligible without going into fighter extensively. The extra +1 to-hit/damage will probably serve you better in the long run.

Thank you, and yeah, I'm going duelist but just not such a huge emphasis on disarming. At least not for quite a while. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I am now also working on a Duelist for a game. I would like to point out you might want a better wisdom since sense motive is a prerequisite for the prestige class.
