Favored Weapons of the Elder Gods?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

If this should be in the Campaign Setting section, please move it.

Title says it all: what would be the favored weapons of the Elder Gods? Specifically, I'm looking for Yog-Sothoth, as an amazing coincidence has cropped up in my Kingmaker game as a result of a player giving me a blank check on his Oracle's patron and me not reading very far ahead in the adventure. So, anyone have any ideas, or has any official favored weapons been listed anywhere?

Tentacle? Pseudopod?

If they notice them at all the great old ones themselves are unlikely to particularly care what the microscopic gnats that venerate them do, so it's probably going to come down to whatever suits the needs of their cultists the best; so convenient, portable, unlikely to raise suspicion, and good for slitting sacrificial throats -- I'd go with a dagger.

Dagger is the generic favored weapon of these gods.

The specific favored weapons for specific outer gods and great old ones will be revealed in Pathfinder #46. (Although, technically, this should be listed as the CULT'S favored weapon, not the Great Old One's favored weapon... but that's a pretty minor technicality.)

Minor nitpick...Elder Gods are different from Outer Gods, which are different from Great Old Ones. The question your asking doesn't really seem to relate to the Elder Gods (and I've seen no evidence that the Elder Gods have any presence in Golarion).

You'll have to dig deep into forbidden lore to find out about the weapons, and it will cost you part of your sanity.

The effective role of the "elder gods" in Golarion is played by all the gods who aren't Great Old Ones or Outer Gods. They're not called such. But if we included Nodens in the game some day (we have not done so yet), he'd probably be presented as an Empyrial Lord, one of the Eldest, or just a minor deity like Besmara, Groetus, and Milani.

Eyepuller. Hair-whitener. Mind jumbler. Conscience Twister. Pen. And, possibly, spiked chain.
