I'm happy being a rogue. Other folks are better suited for the spellmonkeying.

Also, if I multiclassed out of rogue, I'd get fired.

What's the salary on being an Iconic, or is it on based on how much they use you in the books on a piece by piece basis? And is Seltyiel getting double pay for being an Iconic for two classes?

Yeah, I guess.... I just had a 'pet' bat when I was a child, poor thing had been maimed with one wing mostly torn off, looked after it for several weeks and despite being a wild animal, this fruit-bat was extremely affectionate and loved it's weekly bath, let alone being carried around constantly and hand-fed apples and pears constantly.

But I do get The Guano complaint. Dear lord do I get that ... after the stitching in the wing healed, was sort of glad to let it go, though Bruce had other ideas ... eventually had to take him on a five-hour car trip out towards the mangroves and release him there to eventually get rid of Bruce.

Merisiel, don't go too hard on Lem. He might have "borrowed" the song from a Gnome in Black.

If you were able to choose the title for an unauthorized biography about your life, which would you choose:
A) Zen and the Art of Stabbing
B) How to Win Friends and Stab People
C) There and Back Again: A Rogue's Guide to Throwing Returning Daggers
D) "If One More Person Writes Rouge Instead of Rogue I'll Stab 'Em" and Other Merisiel Stories

Huh. How about that? I was going to use D for my biography.

Except for the Merisiel reference, of course.

What is your favourite scar and how did you get it?

What was your favorite thing about Sandpoint?

What was you least favorite thing about Sandpoint?

Did you make any new friends or enemies in Sandpoint? If you did, who were they?

Also, could you talk some of your fellow iconics into doing their own Q&A threads? I bet a lot of people would love the chance to talk with them.

** spoiler omitted **

Ameiko's curried salmon is high on the list of best things in Sandpoint.

Least favorite? The Scarnettis. They suck.

Yup. The Scarnettis. Grrrrr.

I could... but they're not as chatty as me it seems! If you want to fire one up, though... go ahead and give it a try!

I quite enjoy anachronisms.

Also, yes. I've been to Numeria.

Grab some bacon, some onions, make yourself the world's biggest omlette.

*notices the distinctive three-toed shadow looming above his head* Ah crap...

Before death comes squishily down upon me, where did your fetish for daggers and other stabby instruments come from? Is it a personal choice based upon combat tactics (smaller wounds, more penetration of vital organs) personal preference (lighter weaponry, easier to hide, more fun to inflict wounds with) or otherwise (teacher trained me with them, other reasons)?

If you could have a pet, what would it be?

They just seem like the best of the pointy solutions and they work really well and they don't require unsightly big muscles to use good.

A cat or a big moth or a raven or a shocker lizard or a deinonychus.

Cat. Dogs smell like clean dwarves.

No salary at all. You get what you get when you kill monsters and take their stuff.

Getting "fired" means you don't get to continue building your fame, and that'd suck.

Seltyiel is only the iconic magus. That's just one class as far as I can tell, but I do sometimes have problems with numbers... so...

I don't have scars. You get scars when you screw up in a fight and let someone get you. No one gets to me. And I've got the addiction to magic healing to PROVE it.

Why are you pulling double duty in the group of iconics currently operating in Ustalav?

If you could choose anyone to adventure with who would it be?

What would you do to a sibling(if you had one) who forgot they had to take care of your mother after she had surgery today so you were roped into doing it?

How much would you charge to do the same thing you mentioned above to my brother who did the same thing today...oh and respond quietly mother is sleeping.

2) A chase scene in a dungeon trying to outrun a giant rolling boulder?

Which other iconic do you butt heads with the most?

Would you steal the other eye off of this statue?

Depends on the situation, but generally I avoid poison because it's kinda scary if you nick yourself.

Which makes the best trebuchet load? A gnome, halfling, or dwarf?

Ever backstab someone with a ballista?

Which monstrous humanoid would be your pick for a temporary party member, a goblin cavalier, medusa inquisitor, kobold alchemist, or sahuagin ranger?

What sort of treasure do you favour? Gems, for their light weight and high value, coins for their ease of spending, trade goods for working the market or magical items that can benefit yourself or your party members?

What would be your first reaction to finding your 'natural' family?

Would you be overly distressed if you found yourself the victim of a 'punking' involving a Girdle of Opposite Gender?

If Calistra sent a messenger to you, instructing you to undertake a Holy Mission for free, would you do it?

Have you ever, or would you ever, use a party member or allied NPC like this.

Why are you so focused upon Kyra (without getting to heavy into the details, given some of the shenani ... shamanee ... thingies that have been going on around here lately) and was there a specific incident that sparked this?

What would be your impression of the Shadow Dancer 'Iconic'?

Which makes the best pet, a chupacabra or vexgit?

How many gnolls does it take to chase a boar?

Are angry hellknights a common annoyance for you?

(Shows up bruised and beaten, with his arm in a sling)

Dear Ms. Sillvari,

I hope you enjoyed the tickets.

I, alas, did not have such a great time.

My date with Emma went well at first. She looked resplendent and was an engaging, witty and generous conversationalist. We discussed current events and the works of Mr. Whedon. We talked about our families and our pets and our hopes for the future. I proffered her my arm to lean upon and recited from Baudelaire's Fleurs de Mal. She laughed coyly and held my hand! I almost passed out.

Keeping it together, I felt emboldened enough to put my arm around her waist. She smiled and responded warmly. She made some comment about "interlocking parts" and I blushed deeply, but kept the presence of mind to whisper something about the stars and leaned in to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

That's when I noticed the piercing red lights shining out from her pupils. Luckily, I am a 7th-level rogue and am never flat-footed. Nevertheless, I can't explain how forlorn and heartbroken I felt as Emma, my love, tried to smash me into a million goblin pieces. I never would have guessed that a beautiful lady so delicate and thin could've split open an oak tree with her bare hands, but that's exactly what happened.

I held my own for a round or two, but I quickly realized that my only chance of escape was to jump into the mighty Merrimack River. I was washed away in its torrents and was only able to pull myself out three towns and one state-line south. I floundered onto the shore, bruised and sore, and wept into the sand of the riverbank. Oh, Emma, my one true love, why? Why?

Maybe I should've brought her flowers?

You may summon a moonlight bridge a number of times per day equal to your Charisma bonus. Should the bridge be attacked, treat it as a wall of force.

'any direction' = including up?

...if so, does this mean a first level Oracle, assuming the GM was playing by RAW, could block a 10ft wide, 10ft tall corridor for 24 hours and/or really annoy anyone on a mount charging towards them? as a DM how does this work..my gys are try into use it as a wall of force blocking combat.. i seen someone say it only acts like a walk of force if attacked.. what if u dont attack it can u just walk thur it?

A bridge going up isn't a bridge... it's a wall.

And the power isn't called "moonlight wall."

Sorry if that sounds snarky... but it's important to keep in mind the flavor and intention of a power when you start looking for "creative" methods of using it in ways it wasn't intended to be used.

Moonlight Bridge is a power that lets you cross over things that are perilous or hard to move through. "Any direction" means that you can attach any two points within range. The use of words like "path" further enforces the fact that it has to be mostly horizontal that you can easily walk on.

We had a similar situation with this ability in one of our groups and it was decided that it had to be a bridge or something that you could possibly walk on but another question arose.

Could an oracle have more than one bridge out at a time? Either to create multiple paths to cross a location or to connect one bridge to another that may be too short?

1) can u shape the bridge to go around objects?

2) can the Oracle decide who can walk on it or is it self only or can every one walk on it including enemy's?

It is a bridge that spans.

It must connect from the oracle's feet to the opposite side of what ever it is that the bridge is being erected to facilitate crossing. It is not a wall. It is not a cloverleaf highway. It does not discriminate about those crossing until such time as the Oracle erecting it crosses over it, ending that bridge. There is no limit other than actions and the Oracle's Charisma bonus as to how many bridges may be so erected at one time.

Each individual bridge must complete a span (solid surface to solid surface). This might be something as straightforward as crossing a series of stone columns sticking out of a (very deep and large) pit that you want to get to the other side of. Granted, that's a pretty big bridge in its own right (unless you're very low level).

Moonlight Bridge is a VERY handy way to bypass pit traps, moats, annoying series of balance/acrobatics checks embodied in the form of various chambers/rooms filled with nasty stuff in the bottom (just bridge on over and walk!) and to provide yourselves a way out (as long as the Oracle can bring up the rear at speed with the rest of the party leading the way) of pit-laden hell holes. Not to provide cheese-sourced walls of force and other face-palm inducing moments.

It seems clear that the intent is not to have some muttonhead trying to cross the Grand Canyon by multiple successive uses of this ability.

Which, by the way, is not even possible except at the narrowest points of the aforementioned Canyon. Maybe. At the widest point the Grand Canyon is about 18 miles across. A 20th level Heavens Oracle - IF there were conveniently placed columns of solid stone every 200 feet - would require a Charisma bonus of 27 to cover a full mile in this fashion, and does so in a straight line.

I'm Pathfinder, not 1st edition. I don't backstab.

Sahuagin ranger seems the least likely to "accidentally" hurt me.
