Was that space suit you're wearing near the start of Distant Worlds comfortable? It looks like it was a bit difficult to move in. I'm also not surprised that you kept your knives on you.

It was indeed awkward, but less awkward than simultaneously choking and freezing to death. And I'm not gonna let something as little as OUTER SPACE keep me from my slicers and stickers.

So have any of the other iconics met the gunslinger iconic? Or is she really just a myth?

Yup; She's still new, but she's certainly met Harsk, Seltyiel, Seelah, and a couple others.

what would happen in the following scenarios:

1) Amiri vrs Lini?
2) Valeros vrs barrel of ogre beer?
3) Seelah vrs Kira?
4) Lem vrs a Kappa?
5) Yourself vrs Pandora's Box?

1) A surprised barbarian on her ass.

2) Comedy of the highest order, and maybe a strip tease.

3) Hot. (assuming you mean Kyra with a Y)

4) WRESTLING. And then maybe a strip tease.

5) The mind boggles.

So do they say anything about her?

I'd be guessing that the Gunslinger Iconic is the 'Strong, silent' type...Until those guns go off.... >_>

So...just how loud are those things, any way?

Well... most women can't knock you up, for one thing. So that like cuts my chances down by about 75% right there.

That's a good segue if ever I heard one. Why do men find find lesbians and bisexuals so fascinating? The 1 + 1 argument explanation doesn't work.

They say she's REALLY funny. And that she's kinda scary with those guns when she's not being funny. And that when they misfire... she gets REALLY scary.

Lets say none of the iconics(including yourself) could be adventures...what would they be doing as jobs?

They'd all be homeless. Except me. I'd be a a pirate captain.

Well that is not a very creative answear. You really think they would all be homeless? I mean I could see some of them being park rangers...a couple entering politics...or becoming teachers.

Are you not already a pirate captain? Surely you have enough money to buy a ship(though it is much better to STEAL one from the Cheliax navy). I am sure you would be swarmed by people to fill out your crew. What is stopping you from becoming a pirate captain?

Hey. You asked. If you're just gonna call me not creative...

Spoiler:
STAB.

What's stopping me from being a pirate captain is that I still haven't found a good hat for it.

Urk...*bleed*...*bleed*...I should not have said that last bit. I am sorry. Though I guess you really have not contributed to this thread without atleast one stabbing.

Yeah...I can understand that. You can't just buy a good hat...you have to find it.

Can I get a healing potion? Please?

*Hands John Kretzer a potion...*

So then, if'n ye were t'be findin' a right proper hat an' go gaddin' about on'a ocean waves, why would t'other iconics not be joinin' yer said crew?

I would be thinkin' join' in yer endeavors would be a mite more entertainin' than doin' nothin' a'tall?

Much cheers t'ye and yours! (^_^)

I don't feel guilty for that stabbing, but I'm glad you got a healing potion.

And I can always use someone happy on a pirate ship!

In the corebook page 105 (illustration for the Sleight of Hands skill) you are in cell almost naked. How did you end inside there?

what do you think of Flumphs?

I don't like talking about that. Not my finest hour.

ulgulanoth wrote:

I think they're smelly and sound nasty and overly pedantic and they try too hard to compensate for all the things about them that are unpleasant.

I do not like them at all.

So what is your ideal pirate captain hat?

Scarab Sages

And here I was, thinking that you just had a clever plan and let yourself getting captured, appearing to be harmless and non-stabeni...ahm threatening to get the keys and make copys before you escaped, just in case they would be needed later on...

I am sure you have told that tale, but don't want to brag, haven't you ;-)

John Kretzer wrote:

Black and red tricorn with a black and yellow plume, of course!

Liberty's Edge

If you had to choose between never seeing the color blue or the color yellow again, which would it be and why?

Misery wrote:

Blue can go straight to hell.

Because yellow is one of Calistria's colors.

Wait.

By "Never see the color again," does that mean I can see THROUGH it? Like as if the color were invisible?

That would make a LOT of people choose yellow, I think, so no.

... no it does not mean that.

Ever wanted to try a new haircut/style?

ALSO, on the topic of hair, is there some magical spell adventurer's get that always makes their hair return to normal? There is no way you guys are dodging and jumping around other sharp slicing things and NOT getting bits of hair shaved, yanked, or torn out in some regard.

True or false: At this very moment you are thinking of buying Kyra a fine blue dress.

Yes.

And yes. Healing fixes torn out hair.

Have you ever had to have something regenerated?

If Lini plays pranks on people, what is she like afterwards? Is she like this?

Which of the Iconics is most likely to end up in this kind of situation?

The Exchange

Why thank you, Meri....a blue dress as a gift? How thoughtful.

What? Why are you smiling like that?

Is this thing full of knives?

WHAT DID YOU DO TO THIS DRESS?

(looks up-thread)

(sigh)

You know....my robes are already blue....

Hmm it seems to me that someone's resolve is weakening around you Merisiel...keep trying you you just might succeed in your mission.

After adventuring of as long as you have do you find that your body is starting to develop aches and pains?

If so what do you do to relieve them?

Have you ever thought about sneaking into Kyra's tent while she's sleeping and stealing her clothing? Not only would this provide entertainment for you but I'm sure the other iconic's might also find it entertaining.

What sort of spells should I expect to be cast on me for asking the above question? I need to know so I can prepare the proper counterspells.

I know! It's exciting!

Yup, sometimes.

Lesser restoration. Which, I shall note, is a cleric spell delivered via a touch.

Nope. Not until now, at east.

Searing light wouldn't be out of the question.

1) Ever been on an Airship or something like that?

2) Engineer, Pilot or Captain? (or more than one?)

3) Zombie Pirate vs Ninja Vampires, who win?

4) You see a cute little kid Puppy-eyeing, what do you do?

1) Nope.

2) Captain!

3) Ninja Vampires, because the zombie template is so much less powerful than the vampire template.

4) Keep an eye on him and keep my distance. He's likely a pickpocket or carrying some sort of illness.

2) So, you're attracted to men and women who are in charge?

3) Metagamy, but good answer.

4) Might just be a kid wanting a Copper/Silver to buy food...

Cry. And hope Kyra takes pity on a sad, forlorn elf.

I was expecting something more like "Start figuring out exactly how much I could convince her really happened once she wakes up".

Of the iconics, who is the best cook? And does it change when you have to adventure in rural areas without proper access to convenient stuff like stoves, ovens, and spice-racks?

Lem. Doesn't change at all, regardless of where we are. Lem won't say WHERE he learned to cook so well. I have my guesses, but I don't pressure him for answers, because he gets weirdly intense when you do.
