Noob question, but what does SoL stand for in the guides ? I assume it doesn't have the same meaning I'm thinking of.

Which guide are you talking about?

I'm guessing it's Save or Lose.

And you would be correct.

Save or Lose is actually close in spirit with what you were likely thinking though. : P

1. Arcane Archer Magician Bard wouldn't work with Antimagic Field unless you wanted to wait until level 19 to enter AA. Oh well, perhaps Fighter 1 / Wizard 10 / Arcane Archer 2 / Wizard X with Magical Knack to even out caster level?

2. Gnome may not be ideal because of the Str penalty and small weapon size, but still possible.

3. Can't think of any problems, that build is awesome.

Sorry once again for hijacking. I get easily excited at times. Carry on.

And eventually I'd enjoy taking my hand at making a guide as well, it's something I've always found quite interesting.

I'm a fair amount through an Oracle guide. Should be decently comprehensive.

I'm actually working on an Oracle guide right now. Holy eff there is a lot to review for this class.

You can see a working draft of it here: Channeling the Cosmos: A Guide to the Oracle

Can't wait. Can you create a thread in this forum for it? Or would you rather wait till you're complete? Add the color codes like Treatmonk while you're at it, please.

I'll start a thread when it's actually done, and yeah, color codes are coming. I want to get it all written first before I go on an editing spree. :D

As someone else who has been endeavoring to make an Oracle guide, I do agree. Wow that's a lot of stuff that needs to be rated. I'll probably put up a rough draft within a week or so when it gets more presentable.

This is wonderful. Dot.

Oh, here's a link to the discussion I started for my guide. I'm nearly finished with all of the mysteries.

It is not actually a class guide, but while digging around I found that Ogre has a spell guide for Sorcerer.

Here is the discussion:
http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/pathfinderR PG/general/ogresGuideToSorcererSpellSelection&page=1#0

You can decide if it is relevant to this thread or not. To me, since spell selection is what determines success or failure for a sorcerer, this guide is just as important as Minstrel's.

Just a heads up, but the guide also covers options available in Ultimate Combat.

Sovereign Court

Any chance someone can go through and make one post listing all of them since the OP? Its getting to be a pain trawling through the topic.

Rogue Eidolon did one. It's called "Rogue Eidolon's Guide to Rogues". Just up the Cha in his example builds and figure out which Talents are the best. :P

Two questions. First, again I'll ask why this isn't stickied. Second, where did my dot go for posting that question the first time? It seems to be missing.

Thanks to that nameless mod who has been editing this post.

Or whoever let Harmor test out those Reference posts.
