The Arcane Archer Guide just Loads Abraham Spaldings AT guide, or maybe thats just me. I think that the Viking Witch Guide is just you 137ben, it worked just fine for me, maybe try again?

Shadow Lodge

I got the casting spells form other lists. Also, I checked on my page and I believe the Viking Irishman's Witch Guide loads just fine.

Sovereign Court

I'd like to add another of my projects; Guide to the Stalwart Defender and the Discussion thread. It still needs work so as always I'm open to feedback and suggestions.

Shadow Lodge

Added!

Comprehensive Guide to the Guides

Oh yea...the witch guide is working for me again. Probably just a temporary browser issue, whatever.

Sovereign Court

Zenith, it seems like the Arcane Archer link is going to an Arcane Trickster guide. D:

Shadow Lodge

Fixed, thanks for that! Looking through the forums evidently that problems been around for a while, thanks for bringing my attention back to it.

Silver Crusade

My guide is officially MYTHIC!

But I'm mostly here to ask if anyone has an idea for my next project. I think this guide went very well, and so I'd like to dedicate some resources to an equally useful guide for something else.

Right now the ideas I'm tossing around are Bard and Summoner, since I'd rather work on something that's at least a 2/3rds caster. Anything lower than that kind of bores me, although I could actually see sinking my teeth into a Barbarian guide as well, but there's a decent amount of those.

Things I'd rather not work on are Rogue/Fighter/Monk, as the classes really kind of bore me (personal preference only), and Cleric seem pretty well covered.

Aside from that, a new project could be pretty fun!

N. Jolly: How about a general guide to the Archmage or Heirophant paths?

I'd like to see a generic mythic guide if you or anyone really, is taking requests.

Hm...that's actually pretty interesting.

I kind of fear doing something like this, as I have to take it from the most general perspective possible, which is something I try to avoid doing.

For example, what's good for a Fighter might not work for a Ranger, or a Barbarian, etc...but all of those really have similar design goals.

I think if I had a clear idea for the design goals of each class, I could do it a lot easier. But that's actually something to think about, so I might try that when I get back from Matsuricon.

There's a great guide to the forms available from polymorph spells that not many people seem to be aware off, and that I find myself linking to in various advice threads. Maybe its worthwhile linking it in here?

Polymorphamory

I seem to recall one or more 3.5 guides to utilizing and optimizing the Leadership feat. Does anyone know of a PF-specific Leadership guide? Would anyone want to make one?
I'd actually be up for making a PF leadership guide, though not right now (too busy at the moment). But if someone else wants to make it I'll let them:P

Liberty's Edge

Does anyone know if there's a Samsaran / mystic past life guide? Seriously, with the wealth of options that race gives there probably should be.

Shadow Lodge

@soupturtle: Yup, already got it. It was under "specific class abilities" near the end, though under closer inspection I'm not sure if that heading makes sense for it. Thoughts?

@137ben: There is a mini-guide here, but that's all I got. It's pretty short too.

@Shadowcatx: Sorry, I don't have one :/

Are you sure? I only see the "concise and helpful guide to wildshaping and polymorphing", which isn't the same, and which is nowhere near as useful (although still a helpful rules overview) in my opinion.

Shadow Lodge

Look two below that :)

Silver Crusade

Is there anyone working on including mythic rules into their guides?

Nope, still nothing. This is what the relevant section of the first post of this thread looks like to me:

edit: Ah, wait. It is in the 'comprehensive pathfinder guides guide' that's linked in the first post, but not in the first post itself. Does that mean the first post is no longer maintained? I always assumed everything was in the first post of this thread (with some sort of exception on the editing rules granted for it).

My Alchemist guide includes mythic rules, although probably only paths since most feats are basically straight upgrades and are graded accordingly. Same with most spells, they're just larger versions, and most don't give enough of a new benefit to change their ratings.

Mystic Theurge guide would be intriguing, and I think rather helpful. It has full casting (most of the time) so it won't be very boring.

Has anyone created a "so you want to build a kingdom guide?"

it seems like this would be very helpful, especially in the early days when mistakes have long lasting consequences.

Dark Archive

There are some mythic guides here

I'd like to add a Reference Samurai Build discussing the class features of the vanilla Samurai class and how they work to make a durable and effective combatant.

Thanks Zenith! Really appreciate the work you're doing!

Are there any current guides to the Wilder class? The only one I was able to find clearly predates the newest psionics rules, and if memory serves it might even have been a 3.5-era writeup.

If anyone was ever so inclined, I think that would be an awesome read. "He laughed, and then the room exploded."

Is that something published by Paizo, or third party? I'm pretty sure all the guides in this thread are based on Paizo-only material. And last I heard, there were no psionics rules from Paizo, which leads me to think you're dealing with 3rd party stuff.

Third party, Dreamscarred Press. It's an update from the 3.5 rules and rather well done.

Psst, BZ's guide to class guides explicitly has a section for psionics. And yes, it is Dreamscarred Press.

But yea, it's missing a guide for the PF wilder and for the psion. There's a guide for the psychic warrior and one for soulknife, but nothing for the more heavily psionic classes.

I'm surprised a GM's Guide to Creating Challenging Encounters isn't listed here yet. Good stuff!

Shadow Lodge

I'm not sure the guides at the start of this thread are updated, but I certainly have the GM's Guide to Creating Challenging Encounters.

Comprehensive Guide to the Guides

I'm not sure if this constitutes threadcromancy, but whatever!

Anyway, has anyone considered writing race-specific guides? Like, I know Dr. Beck PhD is doing a general guide to all of them, but what if someone wanted to know what, say, drow were just never ever meant to do?

(totally not fishing for a kobold guide, no sir)

I'd love to see Tark's guide to summoners added to the summoner list. I think it's a great guide to a slightly different Summoner build.

It can be found here

Shadow Lodge

Yup, I've got it on the Comprehensive Guide to the Guides. Not sure if the first page of this thread is updated anymore.

Is it even possible to update the first page of the thread anymore?

Silver Crusade RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16

Hey Broken,

I've got updated links for both of my guides. I've moved away from Google Docs for editing them.

Bloodlines Guide

Races of Pathfinder

Can you update both of those for me on the Comprehensive Guide to Guides?

ZanThrax wrote:

There was a forum mod that was doing the updating. I don't know who it was, but they might have stopped for a variety of reasons.

Shadow Lodge

@ Cartmanbeck: Great, changed!

Comprehensive Guide to the Guides

Guide to early entry with Spell-like abilities has been updated.

Shadow Lodge

Very interesting Guide, Pupsocket. I've added it. Is there a discussion thread floating around somewhere?

http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2q7ov?Guide-to-the-very-best-traits#1.

I've started doing the Campaign traits today.

Shadow Lodge

Added! You may want to use a google doc or something else so you can edit it though.

Pupetsock's guide does indeed have a google doc, it is linked to a few posts into the thread.

here.

Shadow Lodge

Ah, thank you. Added!

You might want to list spell less entry into Dragon Disciple its a great dip for pure martial even without spells.

PS
Tried to find a discussion on this, but I could only find the discussion on campaign traits

Are there any Armiger guides?

Sczarni

When I get time, I will re-work this. As is, just cut and pasted the rough I have been working on. Not really a guide, more a build though it was eventually themed to be a guide. Where does the time go?
