reduction.
Wild Empathy(SU)They retain their wild empathy because they are defending nature in their own
way.
When a unicorn dies there is a chance it will rise as a vampire to seek it's revenge. It feeds
only on humaniods and domestic animals. It cannot turn it's fellow unicorns unless they are already
dead. It can turn other sorts of horses, cows, mules, ect. It cannot take back it's original horn, but
it will seek the one who took it. They may serve as mounts for winter druids or Gnoll rangers.


Here's another idea. Main ingredient for magic items.
If you have adamantium for making a metal item, you can halve the creation cost again. Since you are creating rather than buying, that's 1/4 the total cost of the item. It makes selling items worthwhile again.
Field crafting. If you have all the tools, spells, feats, and ingredients, and they are worth at least the adjusted cost of the magic item, you can make it.

Incarnate Mystery
Deities: Parasma, Nethys, Calistria
Class Skills: Knowledge(History), 2 others from a previous life, that would come from one creature, that are not already Oracle class skills.
Bonus Spells: comprehend languages(1),locate object(6),Legend Lore(8), Find the Path(10), Vision(14), Moment of Prescience(16), Foresight(20)
Revelations: An oracle with the Incarnate Mystery can choose from any of the following revelations.
Past Life Regression(EX): You act as a past life. You speak, read, and write in a language you shouldn't have. You can answer questions as the long dead being, but you won't know anything from your present life till you come out of this. It can be done up to an hour a day.
Full of the Winds of Prophecy(EX): Like past life regression, but speaks as a person in the far future. This is a possible future that can be changed.
Automatic Writing(SU): Once per day, in an hour of uninterrupted meditation, they can write or draw something from the past or future. Note that maps will be of how something was or will be and may be incorrect. If they transcribe a spell into a spellbook, it won't be in their handwriting. Otherwise similar to the lore version.
Animal Form: As a druid. One very specific animal they were in a past life. After 10th level they can add a beast or monster(within reason). They can select this multiple times for multiple forms, and/or reselect a different form when they go up a level.
Conversation(SU): Can speak with dead. Spirit appears to Oracle only and appears as they did in life. Spirit may persist till they feel the matter is settled. Cannot contact another spirit till the current one goes away. Minimum 7th level.
First Hand Stories(Class Ability: The Oracle tells a proverb or just so story that is appropriate to whats going on. They may have been a fox hunting a bunny in the ruins, or a peasant who witnessed history. The GM gives the player details and the player turns it into a story.
Skill Swap: For one hour a day, they can use a past life skill at the same level. They can swap spellcraft with disable device or tracking. They have the same chance of success, by skill ranks. The ability bonus might be different for that skill. They can break up the use into 15 min. intervals or use the whole hour at one shot.
Final Revelation: They can polymorph into their past or future life form for however long they want. Each 'life' needs their own character sheet.

Sweeeeet! Reminds me of a half-fiend unicorn I made a while back.

Seems a little odd that such a creature of good has a chance to become a vampire without some kind of divine intervention... Maybe make the lose of the original horn a requirement to becoming a vamp?

Also, undead add charisma modifier to HP now, so with a 28 Cha!, you will be adding 36hp! It should be a CR 5 (3 for unicorn, +2 for vamp) creature, not a CR 7

Might I also suggest adding a few levels of sorcerer or anti-paladin or even bard? Your abilities will shoot through the roof (hello 32 Charisma!) as will your saves (especially if you take at least 2 levels of anti-paladin... But if you can get a little illusion magic going, you can probably get the players right where you want them...

PS The message board folks frown on using PEACH in thread titles, and you would probably get more feedback if you just posted Ultimate Unicorn of Sorrow or something.


Still cool critter :) not sure what to think of the oracle build. I don't mind peaching things lets us know you want feedback. some people just look and say Meh.


I tried it with a non-peach title and there was no response.
But CR 5, Ok. As for character levels, vampires often have thoes.
The loss of the horn could guarantee rising unless the body is destroyed, rather than hidden in a dark place. The Dark Queen of the unsealy court would make a good patron for both undead unicorns and Drow.
Adding levels is cool for individual Vampicorns. May I suggest a feat, body gestures, allowing creatures without true hands to use houlves and horns to make somatic gestures? If an Anti-Paladin has civilization destroying interests, a Vampicorn could become their bonded mount.

The vampire template requires a base creature with 5+ HD. So we need to add another magical beast HD (which would give a final CR of 6), or a class level (which would put the CR on the border of 6/7 depending on how well the class works with the base creature).


A unicorn's hit dice are 4D10 + 12, which is equivalent to 5 dice by 3.5 calculation. Note that it retains a reverse of most unicorn powers, like an evil cleric, so I may have to bring it back to CR 7.

Maybe add a feature where when the unicorn crits on a gore attack, it drinks blood through it's horn like a giant straw.

Sure, it's 1-4 constitution damage, healing the vampicorn 5 hit points.

It's just as possible with it's bite.
