The following is a collection of music I plan on using to set the mood for my players during the Carrion Crown adventure path, and I'd like to share it with all of you. This is not meant as a comprehensive list, it's just what I'll be using myself.
While you're welcome to comment as you like, I'm not really looking for any more suggestions. If you ARE looking to post music suggestions for this AP, F. Wesley Schneider has a great thread on just that subject going on right here, which has been a great help and inspiration for this list. My thanks to Wes and everyone else who has or will add more to that thread.
I'll post additional lists as new CC installments are released and time allows.

Question on the very first one:
01 Prologue: Rising Appalachia – Oh Death
I am guessing you picked this up from the Supernatural episode. Youtube link of it here.
Problem with that clip of course is that it has some russian vocalization in it.
This band doesn't seem to have released this song in the 'creepy' manner used in Supernatural. If you track down their own work, for instance, here it is on Amazon, you'll find it distinctly less creepy. They did a MORE creepy version live, but it's live and has a lot to be desired in the production sense. A link to the live one is here. iTunes appears to only have the live version. The live version also has some harmony problems that annoy me.
I'm just curious which version you've picked out. I can't seem to find the version that was played on Supernatural anywhere. Do you have it from a soundtrack or something?
I really believe the version on that first link from the Supernatural episode is the strongest if I can find it somewhere. This version isn't too bad - but I can't seem to find it anywhere but on Youtube. I'd prefer to actually buy buy songs where I can control them easily in a mixing program.

I've started throwing together a Youtube playlist. I've never done this before and didn't have a Youtube account so god only knows if I did this right.
I seem to have found examples of the first nine or so songs so far. This is good enough of a start for me since it's further than my crew will get through in the next week.

The following is a collection of music I plan on using to set the mood for my players during the Carrion Crown adventure path, and I'd like to share it with all of you. This is not meant as a comprehensive list, it's just what I'll be using myself.
I'm curious what you do when (as always) the event last longer than the song. Do you put the song on repeat? Do you just have other mood music to fill out until the event is over?

In the cases of location oriented songs, I typically put one song on repeat for the duration of a scene, cycling through the various tracks as my players move to different areas (like moving between different sections of Harrowstone Prison or Schloss Caromarc) or do different things. Most of them are subtle enough that they just blend into the background after a bit, which is the intent. The effect of the area tracks is meant to be ambient and slightly subliminal.
In the case of battle oriented songs, I usually play a given song once at the beginning of combat. In cases where a battle has more than one song, I play the next song at the beginning of the enemy's turn. Most battles don't last oh so long, so one or two cycles in this manner is the norm.Most of the event based songs are based around the timing of how I plan to play out the scene. You'll have to listen to them and develop your own tempo for your narration.

In regards to 13 Hungry Stirges: Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov - Flight of the Bumble Bee
I would just like to add my thoughts on a few good performances/variations:
Andre Kostelanetz--This version is symphonic and the arrangement has the main line played in fifths for the majority of the piece giving it an enjoyably creepy undertone.
James Galway--Flute with accompaniment. Nice thematic link to the piper.
Ron Rhode--Organ. Again, a nice creepy, frenetic vibe.
Nuno Bettencourt--Electric guitar, and not actually Flight of the Bumblebee per se, but a variant similar enough for someone who wants something a little less common.
Hope this helps someone in the same boat I was.
And I agree that Riptide777 is awesome for putting these lists together.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good replacement or substitute?
I had trouble finding this one as well. As a replacement, I used "The Return Game" from the Pet Semetary soundtrack.
Is it weird or goofy that I'm using Calamitous Judgement by Zircon of Overclocked Remixes, a remix of the Guardia Trial music from Chrono Trigger for The Beast's Trial?

Hi everybody. I'm sorry for the delay on the next installment, but I kinda lost a lot of my motivation for doing this. Due to events outside of both my game and control, the group that I was running Carrion Crown for kinda fell apart. Still, since it seems as though it's being used and well, just because I love music, I'm going to make an effort to finish these lists. I don't know how long the others will take me, but I'll try to have WotW up by the end of next week. Thanks all.

Kinda Cheezy - but I rocked the theme from Law and Order for the trial scenes in ToB and my group really got into the cout drama. Pretty good for guys who walk in the door at the beggininsg of session and declare "Imma F*@k all your monsters tonight bro!" Bunch hack n'slashers. lol
