Rova 18th 4708
Day: Thursday

At morning two people met each other near the southern bridge of Sandpoint.
The one was a man named Wilhelm Wicki, dressed in light armor sitting on his horse, he is packed with a variety of weapons.
The other man, a dwarf named Talek, is a dwarven druid with a fascination for all things bird related.
After having introduced they entered the Sandpoint together.
At first they visited the “Goblin Squash Stables” and they got to know Daviren Hosk, the owner. Daviren is "famous"for his hatred against Goblins.
He even goes as far he hung a WANTED on his stable stating a bounty for the proof of dead goblins, wich he pays out of his own pocket. His hatred even goes so far Daviren has a decent collection of goblin ears (which he himself collected) hammered on the wall in his office. Proof

When Wilhelm and Talek check-in at the “Rusty Dragon”, they meet an elven woman dressed exotically (Rukia) and a dwarf druid with a penchant for bears (Ismael)

All the heroes so far, are introduced and decide to go on goblin hunt.
Talek had heard a rumor that at night at the garbage dump, goblins could come.
So the newly formed group decided to go out and see for themselves.
When our heroes arrived at the dump they hung a rope.
The highest point was 120 feet, but only rope they had was 100 feet long.
Talek decided to descend along the rope nevertheless.
After a slow start, he came at the end of the rope and fell from there.
The heroes who stood at the cliff-top then came up with the idea find the place where once was the staircase to Choppers Isle.
The cliff was only 80 feet high at the removed staircase and as a bonus the climb was much easier there.
The second person who had climbed down was the dwarf called Ismael. He also fell down the last few meters and suffered some minor bruises too.
The rest of the party came down without any troubles.
The heroes found a nice spot on Choppers Isle from off where they would have a nice spot to shoot goblins one by one once they’d show show their ugly faces.
Probably because the goblins would only show up at night, they decided to first to explore the island.

They found many images of birds carved into the still living trees. There also were could a few dead trees that were completely transformed into herons.
This was the work of Jervis Shock. The chopper.

The party did decide to investigate choppers burned out house.
Talek and Wicki entered the house. Wicki found 2 masterwork woodcutting tools and a stone trapdoor. Because the trapdoor was quite heavy, he asked for assistance. Talek opened the slab as collapsed and therefore fell into a quite deep hole next to the stairs. At that spot he passed out.

Ismael, Wicki and Rukia just took the stairs down :).
Talek wounds were treated and the entrance chamber was examined.

Some of the heroes did hear the sobbing of a little kid and at the same time noticed someone comin down the stairs……..ALARM.
The person coming down was a half orc wich gave quite a lot consternation.
after some explatiion it turned out the Half orc is an archeologist called Spark.
Together they examined the sobbing. It turned out the sobbing came from a little ghost hovering above it’s once mortal remains. The druid Talek aproached the ghost and they came to agree that Talek would bring the remains to the kids family.
There was also a huge wooden statuepiece of an obscure birdlike demon, Pazuzu in the first room.
The Party Barred one pair of doors with the statue.
It might not come to a surprise that the statue lost both of it’s eyes (onyx gems) in the progress. The other pair of doors had been openend and the room behind in briefly examined by Rukia’s bat familiar.
There was probably no danger behind so the party entered. Inside the found some sort of a offering room. A ghastly room it was, filled with pots of eyballs and well prserved human tongues. Also there was a huge tome containing pictures of Pazuzu (a birdlike abyssal lord) and a creature who could be the Sandpoint Devil.

After the offering room had been serached the adventurers removed the statue and entered the second pair of doors.
There was a small hallway that led to another downward staircase. Wicki was the first to enter the stairway. He did discover a rusted dagger there. About that time he also saw a feathercloacked man wielding a pair of carvingtools. Wicki did ready an attack. The cloacked man made the first attack. Wicki sliced right through the man as if he wasn’t there (this was exactly what the rest af the party saw). Suddenly wicky was itching spasticly and there were some bird figures carved in his underarms.

The room under the stairs was a mess of bone birdcarvings and papers strewn out on the floor. There also was a bed.
Spark found a scroll off summon moster III between the filth and Talek found a half decayed stuffed red dog. The stuffed dog made the party figure out the bones belonged to Simon Korvut Das Korvut, the owner of the Red Dog Smithy is his father.

After the clearing of the ruins the party slept on the island till the next day.
The guard didn’t spot any Goblins. To Wiki’s dismay it didnt look like Kubulu was going to get satisfied any time soon. And the fellow went off back to town.

New Day: Friday (market day)
Spark the brown nose made good relations with the weapons smith. The Remains of his son Simon (with proof: the boys red dog toy) made a fancy reward: mw weapons for the whole party, although no dwarven war axe for Ishmael.

Gathering info about any nearby location’s of goblins the Fellowship decided to scout the southern road for about 6.5 miles. 3 goblins where found; ambush foiled & tables turned. Death rattles and 1 prisoner resulted in a new plot uncovered: “the goblin Long Shank plan”. Unfortunately the goblin’s didnt know (or want to tell) any detail of the plan.

After much debating between Talek & Wiki the fellowship headed back to down. delivering their first ears (5gp a pair) and the prisoner to sherif hemlock. Woot, the taste of golden loot.
Spend while it’s still hot: on to the market. 2 wands of curelight wounds ordered (delivery next friday) scrolls bought.

The one without teeth urged Wiki on with an invisible hand. There was more slaughter to be done. Another road, perhaps another road block of goblins, but it was not to be.

Back in town, empty hands, the fellowship settled in for the night…. but not for long…
the City alarm rudely made an end to that.

P.S. I hope you can't see english ain't my native language :)
P.S.S. to be honest I did borrow a lot from the boards as wel from all great threads i could find. So please give credits to yourself if you read something you have come up with. Very special thanks to Grimfodder.

Starday Rova 20th 4708
(Saturday pre-swallowtail day)

The heroes were quick on their feet and made way to the garrison.
Over there they found a guardsman ringing the alarm and they met Belor Hemlock.
The goblin prisoner had been killed, He had a hole burned into his chest, probably by magic and his head was separeted from his body.
Hemlock has secured the city, Nobody could get in or better yet out, without being seen.
The party Let all things settle and takes no further actions……

Talek Promised Ameiko he is going to help with building up the swallowtail festival.
Wicki is going on another goblin hunt, wich doesn’t feels like a surprise. He takes Rukia, Spark and Ismael with him.
Once again there are no goblins to be seen.
There are a lot of travelers, traders, street artists and pilgrims on the road though.
So to no avail they goblin hunters return to Sandpoint. Ismael picks up his job as gardener and “makes 2 GP” by doing such a good job in such a short time. Talek also earns 2 GP and 1GP on top as a tip from the major. However it seems his biggest reward was meeting Myra, the very handsome frivolous captain of “the Rum Runner”.

Then at last...... Festival night.
The party stays in the Rusty dragon where they have diner.
Talek gets a free curried salmon from Ameiko for his hard work.
Then it’s time for the strongman competition.
There are 3 competitors among our heroes, though only Talek by choice (If I am right) the other 2 were signed in by their fellow adventurers.
Even though Rukia is helping his mates by casting some well placed dazes, only Talek made it to the Semi final against “Sir” Jasper Korvaski. Sir Jasper makes it to the finale vs. Das Korvut who allready held the title for four years in a row. Alas Das has set a new all-time record…. 5 years in a Row.
Talek got into a small Quarrel with Gorvi, the town’s garbage man, about some spilled beer.
Talek the wiser of the two ignores Gorvi’s provocation.
Rukia has quite a long talk with Eando Kline, a member of the Pathfinder Society.
Shalelu also makes her apearance and she, Eando and Ameiko are discussing the goblin troubles.
As the night progresses the Rusty Dragon gets Calmer and Talek has a quick meet up with Myra, who leaves for the Hagfish.

All visitors in the Hagfish are chanting “Norah, Norah”.
After seeing one of the locals puke, Ismael ell tries to give it a go. He bravely drinks all of Norah’s fluids in one big gulp and miraculeusly keeps all inside his stomach.
By doing so the dwarven bearduid earns himself 39Sp.
Jargie the barkeep is being generous and offers another 39Sp to any other succesfull contestant but nobody else can handle the rancid drink.
Also the brave mage Rukia wants to gives it a go, but while standing there with the mug in her hands she changes her mind. The only “reward” Ismael gets for his 2nd try is a one minute long puke.
When the party thinks the night is over they have one encounter with Gorvi who wants some "revenge". He throws some Poop at Talek. The party deals quickly with the half-orc and his two human lackeys. The three town cleaners will smell like poo for the days to come

That brings and end to another great day

Swalowtail festival
A great day....or not?

Sunday Rova 21th 4708
(swallowtail day)

Arrived at last! the big day everybody was looking forward to.
The party made his way to the cathedral square, briefly eavesdropping on the city barracks.
It seemed somebody put a number on Gorvi last night, much to the amusement of the cityguards. He had it coming and not much blood was spilled.

On the square masses of folk where gathered, waiting for the great speakers on stage. One speaker they did not know; a curious elven fellow who had elbowed his way onto the stage and briefly talked to the mayor making great gestures. Apparently the mayor was willing to let him speak to the crowd and indicated he’d wait his turn on the side. He must have something important to speak about afterall. The crowd watched and listened, eager for the newcomer to speak

After the speeches from Mayor Deverin, sheriff Belor Hemlock and Cyrdak Drokkus it was Rukia’s turn, frankly he did mess it up a litlle and at least his friends put their hands on eachother.

Then there were games wich the party mostly ignored.
Wicki spent practicly most of the Festival on the roof, even when there was free food.
The swalowtails were released and when the catherdral was about to be blessed the party spotted a dog being sliced in two.
5 Goblins came to wreak havok on the town.
Belor, Ameiko, Sir Jasper and father Zantus quickly evacuated civilians into church. while the party made quick work of the goblins.
Then 5 more apeared together with a commando and a warchanter (goblin bard)
They wanted to burn the church But Rukia stopped most of em using a well placed sleep spell.
In the meantime Sir Jasper Korvaski and sheriff Belor Hemlock left to deal with gobbo’s up north
The party had quickly dealt with their goblins and finished them off with cold steel.
So they went to search more goblins (after some cure spells recieved form father Zantus)

Up north, near the White Deer inn the party did encounter 4 more common goblins, 1 commando, one goblin jailor called Bunkel.
They also see Hemlock on the ground being protected by sir Jasper, they are surounded by half a dozen of goblin bodies. And there is a noble dude drowning a goblin in a rainbarrel.

They go down quick aswell, as does a new mounted comando who threatened the noble dude called Aldern Foxglove. Aldern is extremely grateful and promises to reward the party.
Bunkel drops a necklace of fireball…..goody goody.

Another day brought to a good end, as sir Jasper uses lay on hands on the sheriff once the coast is clear.

Moonday Rova 22nd 4708
(farmers market day)

Sherrif Belor Hemlock visits the player characters with a request to keep an eye on captain Myra Sinsashi.
Myrah stormed up in his office this morning and threatened she would take things in her own hand if things aren’t done about the safety of her business associates, that have been harrased since she arrived.

The party goes over to the hagfish where Myra is talking with trader Lavender Grimspatch, a trader from Magnimar who visits sandpoint every fireday(he now stayed longer due to the festival)
In mid conversation Myra bursts away and runs up a hill following a black scarved spy.
In the meantime her normal clothes change to black leather armour in the blink of an eye.
The party follows Myra and help her as she is being ambushed by a group of local black scarfed mobster called Sczarni.
The Sczarni are quicly dealt with and ofcourse looted.
Myra also seems to have an impressive handcrossbow with wich you can entangle foes.

As the party returns to hagfish they see Lavender Grimspatch being pinned to a table with 2 tiny silver daggers through his hands and one normal dagger with a black scarf on it.
The Sczarni way of saying “mind your own business”.

In the Rusty dragon the promise Aldern Foxglove to join him on a traditional boar hunt tomorrow.

Toilday Rova 23th 4708

In the morning the fellowship joined a very eager noble man in the stables. Foxglove couldnt wait to get his boarspear into some juicy meat. After his 2 retainers polished some boots, the noble man looked shocked: “you have no horses?”. Aldern made quick work of that and handed out horses & ponies for everybody. The ride into boar territory went uneventfull; No trouble met.

At this point the retainer where left behind to setup camp; making fire and side dishes.

The boar hunt didnt go to well at start; Talek brought a big signal horn, to scare of any big game. He was sure this hunt would not be succesfull.

Alas, the first boar was found and stood no chance against Aldern. Another boar rushed off through bushes, apparently in the direction of the campsite. But before the fellowship went after it, there was another boar, this time a Large one. Talek decided one was anough to feed all mouths, another would be just for sports. So he charmed the boar, but overshot his reach; thinking he’d make the boar helpfull it instead became indifferent again. Right at the moment Talek tryed to stear the fellowship away from the boar, a whereboar rushed out the bushes, commanding the large boar to attack. Wilhelm make quick work of him, but not before taking a nasty wound. The Large boar, no longer under influence fled the scene.

Back in the campsite the fellowship found chaos. A boar had trample the camp, wounding a retainer, and to Aldern’s dismay injured a horse; “Look what you’ve done to my horse!”. After some quick aid, Foxglove decided not to remain, but bring back the catch to Sandpoint, to be eaten in safety.

Good job. Great stuff. :D
