Perhaps instead of crazy list I should just accept they are acolytes of my cult.

Ooooh, I get to be an acolyte cultist! Now where did I see that stat block????

He's got a point, Sean, and besides, you tell me that Six wasn't part succubus. Seriously. :P

And, yeah, I do wish we could've seen more. Maybe if Caprica hadn't been canceled...

Acolyte is page 304 of the GMG. Cleric 1. Cultist is page 278 of the GMG. Cleric 3. I'm assuming that acolyte is the more important part of that description so I'd say you're a Cleric 1.

Hey DM, what kind of domains do you grant to your acolytes?

James Jacobs granted DM the exclusive Whip domain. I was so excited by that one that I have forgotten if he granted her any of the other mundane domains.

(As an aside, I was laughing so hard when I read it that I became a convert on the spot.)

Edit: Found the reference.

Since there are not prophets prestated up, I'd have to estimate that DS is either a cultist (cleric 3) or a shaman (adept 7). Since she is familiar with the domains, I'm assuming the cultist.

Prophets are often the big evil bad guy at the end of the adventure. So she is fully stated up like a PC. :)

Not in the least. Just that a Succubus is a demon. They're Chaotic Evil. Its the Lawful Evil ones that always turn a prophet. Just like Elan's Dad.

PFRPG releases from Frog God Games, Super Genius, and Open Design are all pretty much automatic purchases from me (with the addition of the Swords & Wizardry products from FGG as well). Dreamscarred may make the list based on how I like Psionics Expanded.

For other stuff, I weigh my own personal interest in the product and DM's reviews.

No touching, just watching, though...reviewing...needs a certain focus and devotion to the matter at hand.

All right, let me break down my thoughts about 3pps:

The guys from Rite Publishing have some stellar pdfs out there and produce almost exclusively files I'd consider winners. Especially their patronage projects. Pathways provide quality, free content.

Super Genius Games push the boundaries of rules and are masters of crunch and light on fluff - definitely worth a try and another company that has an excellent track-record.

Raging Swan Press have awesome pdfs and offer a lot of support like e-reader-versions etc. If you're searching for old-world-style sourcebooks and adventures, they are the go-to place.

Open Design produces almost exclusively stellar products, the advanced feat series being the notable exception and hit and miss for me. I preferred SGG's and RiP's supplemental material for the classes.

LPJr Design have the NeoExodus campaign setting and since their editing has improved significantly over the course of the year, I've come to enjoy the different take NE takes on fantasy and far-out ideas. If you're somewhat tired of standard fantasy, they definitely are worth checking out.

Dreamscarred Press were the masters of 3.5 psionics and are the lords of PFRPG-psionics. If you like psionics, you practically have to check them out.

Frog God Games provide excellent, deadly old-school modules and the Slumbering Tsar saga is plain awesome and epic. Have I mentioned the Tome of Horrors?

0onegames Great City is one of my favorite campaign settings for PFRPG - the player's guide and excellent Road to Revolution adventures are the benchmark against which I judge urban adventures.

4 Wind Fantasy Gaming has produced high-quality, cool books and created my benchmark for an equipment book with their Luven-book.

Zombie Sky Press produce BEAUTIFUL pdfs and especially their incantation books should be part of PFRPG canon.

Alluria Publishing also provide BEAUTIFUL pdfs that are very professional and full-color. Their Cerulean Seas Campaign Setting especially is worth checking out.

Necromancers of the Northwest provide cheap, long, crunch-intensive pdfs, but don't always hit the mark, especially lately. Their Advanced Arcana book is plain awesome.

Headless Hydra Games have been hit and miss for me: When they hit, they hit hard and rank among the top. The same goes for when they miss, though.

Purple Duck Games provide mostly extremely affordable, high quality content and their legacy-item-files are excellent additions to any gaming table.

Tricky Owlbear's Forgotten Foes is an excellent bestiary - I can't say anything about the location pdfs, as I don't have them.

Spes Magna Games have extremely cheap, cool alternate rules and their newsletter provides a lot of free content.

TPK Games seem to go for the dark & gritty niche and have continuously improved since their first offering.

Demiurge Press have neat, affordable little bestiaries.

Epidemic Book's Oathbound-pdfs offer a lot of content and an extremely detailed setting for an affordable price. Plus, I love Oathbound.

I really liked Gaming Paper's Citadel of Pain - they are definitely guys to watch as well.

If you're looking for skill challenges, 4th Dimension Games is the way to go.

I haven't yet checked out Legendary Games first product, so I can't comment on that.

I'm looking forward to seeing more from Clockwork Gnomes.

I just bought some recent Adamant files and will review them soon - until then, I won't comment on them.

We at TPK Games are definitely here to bring you the dark and gritty gaming sourcebooks and adventures. As we near Halloween you will likely see some very exciting projects wrapped up from us. I don't want to spoil anything yet, but suffice it to say we are putting together some very intriguing sourcebook material in addition to our already exciting adventures and GM aids.

We may even have a project or two that we won't be allowed to fly the Pathfinder flag on due to subject material... It will become an OGL d20 product.

So far my experience with 3PP has been fairly limited.

Dream Scarred Press - the only 3PP I trust enough to pre-order from, and they make it worth the while. I'm a big fan.

Super Genius Games - I've got a couple of their items, and so far I like everything I've got. Wish money was unlimited so I could get more.

Epidemic Books - I love the Oathbound setting, and greatly dislike the Oathbound crunch, much to my disappointment.

I don't know anything about TPK games, I haven't heard of y'all before, but I'm definitely looking for something on the dark side. Do y'all have a website? (Since the stuff won't be available here?)

And we take preorders extremely seriously.

It's why we still haven't opened up preorders to Psionics Expanded in print - anytime we do a preorder, we want to make sure we have a time commitment to get it done. We've learned from mistakes made years ago about that. :)

Well, maybe not mistakes - just opening up preorders too early and releases taking longer than we consider reasonable.

I've bought and reviewed TPK games material and so far I'm pleased with their later material as their early material as pretty as it was just wasn't upto snuff. Now their latest books you can see they are getting on a roll and it's come along nicely. The writing is solid, the layout is clean, and the big color artwork beautiful. There is nothing in there that doesn't need to be in there and it's packed in there cleanly. Very pleased with my purchases.

Raging swan press is another one like TPK games. Simple, easy to use, and full to the brim of everything you need and nothing you don't. Don't let that plain black front page fool you, if you need something in that book you'll end up saying "OH! I can use this too!" It's a veritable DM treasure trove of ideas.

Hit or miss has been Skorched Urf Studios. Some of that is just "What were they thinking?" and others are "I could use this." Lots of CGI-Art that doesn't blend in with the product. Toss it, shoulda been blank.

Avoid: Avalon Games. Infinite futures was a waste of money. So much potential, trashed. I almost wanted a refund on all of bundles I bought. Sigh.

LPJ: NeoExodus is a fantastic set of books. Why anyone would hate on them I don't know. I've enjoyed that series highly including the Obsidian Twilight ones. Lots of idea and monster books for one to use.

We at Little Red Goblin Games would like some attention as well! We have been putting out material for about half a year now, and we believe it's steadily been improving. Admittedly, our release dates are a bit delayed here on Paizo, but we're making sure we get 'em out quick!

Here is a link to our products: LRGG Product Page

We have a free sample pack up there, so what have you got to lose?

And here's our website, which has a very useful initiative tracker and a built-in dice roller: littleredgoblingames.com

Dogs of War is our newest release, with the Ravan & Shaper supplement releasing by October 16th, and the Tome of the Bizarre releasing on October 30th!

I hope you give our products a try! Someday we'd like to be talked about with glowing words as well!

Yes, indeed. I. AM. LITTLEREDGOBLINGAMES!

Or at least I'm the lead hobbyist game designer. But enough about me.

We are revamping the Conductor along with a few of our earlier offerings, improving the art (And giving me more time to playtest to my heart's content!) The Martialist will be part of a pack being released in December, The Conductor will be sent back out likely next month in November with a few new items and expanded favored class content.

If you've already bought one of our products, we will be happy to reimburse you with these improved ones at no cost! Just shoot me an email at calebaylsworth@littleredgoblingames.com and we will put you on the list to get one. As far as the Martialist goes, we may provide only it as a replacement, but we're thinking on the rest of the book as well as thanks to the people who supported us in the beginning when things were still a bit rocky.

We also have things up a bit earlier on drivethru, but we're trying to synch or nearly synch release dates on Paizo. Rest assured we have a lot more coming now after a period of slight confusion.

Let me see, the Martialist, Wrestler (in the same pack as the martialist in December), and Conductor are all coming back. The Noble relaunched as the Tome of Ingenuity. If there are any others I've missed feel free to ask and I shall answer.

I got the Lizardfolk of the Dragon Fang, and the Bleached Skull Gnolls. They went a long way in establishing some of the fiercer tribes in one of my settings, and giving a more dynamic conflict between the tribes the players were interacting with. The stat blocks were also a big help.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a little more about Total Party Kill Games. I apologize in advance if it sounds like I'm bragging on myself, but that's not the intent at all! Please let me assure you that I'm as humble as they come! It's just that there are no resumes or credentials, etc. and since I now work for TPK, I wanted to mention some of my personal accomplishments, with the obvious goal of hoping to influence folks to check us out!

While I mentioned above that I attended GenCon, prior to that I also participated in the RPG Superstar 2010 Contest and placed in the top 8 (as you can see by the text next to my name in this post. Lol!) I also wanted to mention that my name appears in Ultimate Combat as one of the contributing designers (Richard A. Hunt... that's me!).

So what's in store for the future? I wear so many hats at TPK it's hard to know where to start, but I will be writing for TPK most of all. I'll also be doing lots of maps too (I did the map for the most recent Tomb of Caragthax the Reaver scenario, our first offering in the Grave Undertakings product line). I'm the lead designer on two brand new products coming out very soon!

If you love recurring villains you're definitely going to want to take a look at our next Infamous Adversary, Temerlyth the Undying! If you're looking for a really dark, irredeemable soul Temerlyth fits the bill. An NPC from my own campaign, he is highly developed and ready to horrify your players! Apologies for sounding like an advertisement but he really is all that, IMHO!

What's also so special about this one is that we think he came out so well, that I also wrote a major companion product, a full-length adventure/lair starring this major bad guy! Also from my home campaign, it's very well developed too! While it can be played as an adventure it's really a major reusable site you can drop into any campaign!
