Silver Crusade

If you find yourself about to post something that boils down to that as its core essense, stop and reconsider whether you really want to be That Guy.

Do you?

Yes

Hey! What am I?!

Agreed.

What's the point of the internet then?

I think we all know.

Glad somebody totally spiked that perfect set.

Silver Crusade

Indeed. And dammit, I'm okay with that.

I was gonna make a Rule #34 joke but TOZ has way beaten me to the punch.

Did someone say Internet porn?

I would add the corollary that the same thing applies to:

"If I don't dislike something, you can't dislike it either."

So we have 'Stop liking what I don't' and 'Stop disliking what I do'. Should we add 'stop liking what I like' and 'stop disliking what I dislike' to it just to round it out?

I dunno. The latter two seem like things one would direct at their younger siblings than what one would whine about to fellow messageboard posters. Of course, I think we've all seen some wacky posters on these here boards...

I'm not naming names, I'm just sayin', is all.

I think the concept is perfectly encapsulated in Wheaton's Law.

Tolerance = accepting the existence of something you don't like and not wasting energy railing against it. You can still hate it as much as you like but you don't act like a jerk about it.

So are you saying to stop liking 'Stop liking what I don't like' statements because you don't like them?

;)

I don't think I like this thread.

This thread is a good thread.

Droz: These, Tom, are the Causeheads. They find a world-threatening issue and stick with it for about a week.
