First of all, this is a work in progress. If you do see that I'm missing convention, make a post and I'll do my best to make sure it gets added. If you see a way I can make it better let me know. Oh, if you know of a con, and have a direct link. Please provide it.
FYI the only editors of this list I intend to add are Venture-Captains and related Paizo staff that are interested.

You should put the dates on there for each convention so that people can see when they might have to choose between conventions happening on the same date.
I listed the months that the cons typically happen, but as I intend for this to be a long term document, I left the dates off because they shift every year, but I did include the links to the websites so that you could look up this years dates on the convention's website.
That and I don't want to get into the habit or burn time updating convention dates every year, at the most I want to add/remove cons as they are born and die.
There may come a time in the future that it's feasible maintenance wise, or I find an easier way to update this other than manually. At that time, I'd be looking to add dates.
On a different note. There are cons out there that have PFS present, but in an unorganized, and open format. Those Cons I'm going to leave out because they are difficult to for me to confirm if in fact there is PFS present. If you're an event organizer for a con, and your con is run in similar fashion, let me know so I can add your con to the list.
Ideally, this will simply be avoided by having all of the VCs able to edit this list since they'll likely be the person who's in the know. Similar to how Mark Garringer added some tonight himself already that I'd never heard of.
A good example of this is Marmalade Dog in Kalamazoo. The only reason I know PFS is going to be there is because it's A) advertised on Paizo forums, B) I live in Kzoo, and C) I'll be running some of the tables.

This is a very nice idea. Is there any way you can add a separate country column and provide a filter? I nearly missed Vaultcon in there.
Thanks.
Thanks for the compliment. I thought about adding a separate tab for country, but the decision not to was based on that I only have 1-2 cons so far outside US borders. If I start getting a lot, then it'll only make sense to add a country tab. So, for now it's done that way to save space.
For a filter though...not even sure how to add that. My fake google excel-fu must be weak.

Alright, it may make sense for me to add a country tab, I'll do it when I have a more functional browser at home.
Further, what is your email Auke, so that I can add you as an editor.

One thing that would be great to add is the total number of reported PFS tables per convention. That way you can compare the size of each and know if it's worth driving/flying for. Gen Con does about 300 tables. U-Con did something like 60. Some smaller ones may be more like 12.
I know that Hyrum/Mark have easy access to this stuff, but aren't likely to give those numbers up. You could try to track down the coordinators to get the totals.

That would be really cool. Hopefully someone who has the ability to give those numbers will speak up and I can add them as an editor so they can drop them in quickly. I'd be looking for averages, or at least expected numbers, not what it was last year. Since the intent for this is a long term growing document.

Thanks, that helps.
I would be the best contact for GryphCon, for now (VCNeil at gmail). Also Spellstorm (Toronto) in February and CanGames (Ottawa) in May. amd Hammercon (Hamilton, ON) in November. All are small conventions (8-15 tables). So far.
Added you so that you may edit.
Updated those cons. Do they have links?

While we only had a small and last minute PFS representation, and would have been none without Steve Miller's help, at this year's MystiCon, next year we will have a real PFS presence, I will make sure of that.
MystiCon 2012
Feb. 24-26
Roanoke, VA

The website for 2012 just went live today, so there is not a separate gaming section yet, but I will make sure our webperson gets info about PFS games added as soon as I have it to pass along to her. As for number of tables, we should have enough room to run 10-15 tables simultaneously, if we get the GMs and players for it.

Very nice - I have some friends in Roanoke, and I hope to get up there next year for this con. We used to go to Rovacon together waaay back in the 80's. Is that still around?
Enevhar Aldarion |
Unfortunately, RoVaCon ended in 1991. It was a victim of one of those splits among the people running it, where one group wanted to go one way and the other group wanted to do things a different way. The person with the rights to the name decided to just stop doing the convention, so some of the remaining folks started up a new convention called SheVaCon, which eventually moved to Roanoke and will be having their 20th year next year. I did not get a chance to go to that one this year because I was sick, but they have not done much with gaming the past several years, so I do not even know if they had any this year. One of our purposes with MystiCon was to get more convention gaming into this part of Virginia, since it had been so lacking at the other local convention.

Noted. I'll add you once paizo acknowledges your VC status officially. In the meantime I'd be more than happy to update any cons you have via this thread.
