Can anyone point me to where I might find some official discussion on what the limitations are for wishes granted by geniekind? I know they are somewhat less limited than the wish spell, but more limited than god-granted wishes. But I haven't seen anything giving much detail to how much more powerful they can be than the regular wish spell. I've found several homebrew discussions and ideas, but nothing official.
If there is no official commentary from Pathfinder sources, 3.5 sources will do just fine, if anyone knows of any.
Genies granting wishes use the same rules as the wish spell. They actually cast wish as a spell-like ability. The only difference is that their ability only works for non-genies.
