Had a nightmare last night that Cactus-Jack decided last minute he didn't want to go anymore as I'm picking him up, then I get down to Chattanooga and I realized I forgot to pack my gaming supplies (Dice, minis, maps, modules, etc.), and then I'm so stressed I couldn't sleep at all during the con, and have to drive up home sunday night with 3 days of no sleep and no co-pilot.

Needless to say, I woke up in a sweat. Worst gaming related nightmare ever! Also reminded me that I still need to finish prepping for M-Dog.

WOW, that's kinda crazy. Don't worry I have no intention on backing out. Although no gaming supplies would definitely provide a stressful weekend.

Yea, especially my drive home plan is I'll take the first half to lafayette, you take the second half home while I sleep, and then I drive solo the last 3-4 hours home getting there about 5am. If you wanted you could drive the whole first part and I'd sleep till lafayette.

We'll have to play that by ear. I'm not stranger to long drives, however after the Con, your plan may be best or maybe 1/3 - 2/3. Should make for a fun Monday.

I've got potentially bad news. My secondary car just hit the shitter. The fact that it was running and able to be used was the reason I was able to take the good car long term. I drive it once a week just to make sure it runs decently and the battery doesn't die. Well today on the way home no less, a vacuum hose blew, my breaks started squeaking, and the muffler rusted out and is hanging off my car and dragging on the ground.

Us not having a second car isn't an option. So, depending on the damage report, we're either buying a new car, or forking out money to get this one fixed. Which probably means unless I have some stroke of luck, I'm going to have to cancel my trip down to Chattanooga, and maybe any other big cons I planned to go to.

As soon as I know 100%, I'll let you know.

It dipped heavily into my reserves and I don't think there is any feasible way for me afford it now, I'd have to starve my family to afford it now. Gencon is even on the chopping block now, and being evaluated.

If you, or anyone you know, can pick up an extra game or two, we now have 10 games that need DMs. Also, if a new DM picks up at least 5 games, they will get free room and badge.

I blame the Aspis Consortium for this base and low sabotage of Pathfinder activities.

We have 80 tables scheduled to run. I have to say I am underwhelmed by the player response as we currently have barely half the tables at a legal player size to run. If it is this low throughout the con, I very seriously doubt we will be returning next year.

Consider that last year, they had a whopping three tables/slot (and no midnight slots), I'd say you are definately looking at the glass as half empty.

Grand Lodge 4/5

I'm actually comparing it to ConNooga held in Feb. We ran 86 tables of PFS. With the turnout, we scheduled the rest of the PFS scenarios we didn't run in Feb, as well as the new scenarios released since Feb. With Dicehead a more focused gaming con as opposed to ConNooga, it is disappointing. I wasn't involved last year so only have this year to compare. Regardless, we are still planning for a great time in 3 weeks or so.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Two weeks away and still plenty of seats available.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Starting to fill up nicely. If you are planning on attending and haven't signed up for games yet, now is the time before all the games are full.

Also, if your have a scenario you have always wanted to play and not had the opportunity to, please let me know. I have intentionally left myself open in most slots so I can run these wildcard slots.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Everyone hear that train whistle? Only one week away!

Silver Crusade 3/5

I'm really looking forward to Siege. I'm GMing seven tables, so I'm hoping to create a fun experiance for all involved!

Still plenty of room for those looking for tables to play at.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Four days!

Grand Lodge 4/5

First game in 8 hours!

We will also be running PFS Quest: Ambush in Absalom all throughout the con!

The Exchange 4/5

I want to thank Mike "Can You Smell What The Brock Is Cooking?" Brock for running an awesome Con. With nearly 70 tables played, PFS was THE event for tabletop games.

I also want to thank all the GMs who came and drove to make all those tables possible!

And it was great meeting Cactus-Jack, who drove the longest out of anyone! I even sat in at one of his tables! Can't wait to see which one of us reaches our 4th star first!

had a great time at the SIEGE. Thanks to all the DMs and organizers who made it possible.

I had a good time as well. But I'd have paid extra for air conditioning and toilets that worked!

Thanks to everyone that made it possible! And it was great to meet and play in a game with Mr Brock (and later, his son!).

A bit of a Belated post. This was a very fun Con, the venue was very cool, if you overlooked the construction, plumbing and AC issues in the building we were in.

The GM group and players were great. I met a lot of new faces at the con and truly had a great time. Mr. Brock's map support for most of the scenarios was totally cool. I am looking forward to gaming with you all again.

Next year with construction completed and a most likely larger Society base it should be even better.

Kudos to Mr. Brock for a well organized smoothly run Con!!!

Grand Lodge 4/5

Thanks for the compliment. Glad you had a great time.
