I'll take a stand and defend Shuriken on this one.
Yes, a number of his characters are underage girls. Yes, a number of his characters are fetish material. Yes, a number of his characters have quite disturbing backgrounds. However, there is one critical qualifier that needs to be made to all of those statements: to conservative western culture. Can you honestly say that it is any more strange than the western obsession with bombs, bullets, and blood (look at all the FPS out there)? I will even argue that it is probably even healthier than the more western conservative counterpart. If you want to argue that playing such characters will lead to some kind of sexual psychosis, then we should take a look at the military industrial complex that games like Call of Duty encourages. At least sexual psychosis won't lead us into starting wars that have cost us over 1 trillion dollars and the deaths of nearly 1 million civilians. I'm sure that his games not only see some quality role-playing, but they likely explore portions of psyche that are otherwise immensely difficult to get a glance of. I don't know about y'all but I certainly would love to play a game that explores moral gray areas. There are few other games that even have that as an option outside of DnD. Why was Silent Hill good? Because it explores a particular part of the psyche that we don't regularly have access to very well. It is hard to replicate the feeling that is achieved by the unification of isolation, fear, helplessness, and horror. If anything we ought to congratulate Shuriken for being able to create characters rich enough to disturb us.
Um...have sexual relationship with minors IS not a morale grey area. It is wrong. Leads to large amounts of problems. Feel like I almost walked in a NAMBLA meeting or something here.
As I said I like exploring disturbing characters concepts. But never have I gone into pedophile...that is disgusting and also sensitive areas.
And his character don't creep us out due 'richness'....I personaly his characters are a bunch of Mary Sues who would be laughed out of a game with seriouness depth. Heck if his characters did not have the creepy vibe(which is the easiest thing to invoke by the way) they would not be mentioned.

It sounds strongly like you are blaming America for all wars. We do not start wars. We are always brought into them. We defend our country or we help others in need of help. We don't go out and attempt to conquer.

And DM's are Poopz collectors? Shortened to PC's to keep it simple. NPC's can be renamed nonpoopz characters or NPC's for short. And players can all be called Reese, cuz I get tired of learning all their names. And Reese seems gender neutral and makes me think of Peanut Butter cups... which can be called PBC's.

Everyone freaking out here should read the White Wolf games, VtM had in the Setite clanbook an archtype character of a child molester school headmaster. Of course that group had a religion based on wallowing in evil until you get bored and can move on to more important things....
I'm sorry, but everyone I have ever met that plays a setite was seriously unhinged. I mean malk fans maybe a bit crazy and nutty...but they are at least harmless (mostly). Setite fans makes your skin crawl...and definately not harmless.

Though I enjoyed many Storyteller games, my personal belief is they are all monsters that feed on humanity and use them for their games.
