Why add in a level of wizard? Magi are able to quallify for eldritch knight without multiclassing.
Well, the rest of the zeroth and first level spells anyways. Multiclassing doesn't combine spell lists...
If it works for you cool, but I think it's a terrible mix personally. Ever level of wizard is a level you're not upping your magus caster level and getting the cool abilities. Every level of magus is one you don't up your wizard caster level, and don't get any of their goodies. Every level of EK only benefits one of the two routes your going through...
