Hey whats with the hating on Orcs huh? :p
Seriously though CJ. Neat idea I actually did this sort of thing in my own campaign world. Except I made elves the group committing the genocide hundreds of years before and the other races rising up to cast them down and then th different races trying to make a go of it from there even some of the elves decided to support the other races yet still feel as though they are superior to the other races because of their long lives. The majority of the elves grey and dark elves who survived the war fled but still cause trouble to this day.

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Sam and Dean's road trip took a turn for the worse in the rural areas of Ohio, when they ran smack dab into a good, old-fashioned family feud that had grown increasingly violent. Meanwhile, Peter and Walter continued to search for a cure for Olivia's condition, before she regressed completely into a caveman mentality. And, across town, Tony was completely overwhelmed when....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

** spoiler omitted **Spot on for the aid that can be offered from their clansmen, the greatest threat lies in the traitorous kingdom to the west. It's going to be far more "humancentric" than I normally do. Elves and Dwarves for example are known of by tale, but have never been experienced, in the beginning at least.
Think a version of Celts/Thracians vs Roman Empire where the Celts/Thracians win.
With the race book coming out you might even go more Grecian/Roman with it. Heck you could even use some of the races I have heard in the B3 for a unique spin.

You could pull several good story ideas from them. Just stay away from the reimagining's ending. It kind of sucked.I liked the first season, but lost interest when they started changing the cast of characters.
If I ever get to go back in time, I will tell my younger self to stop watching both Battlestar Galactica and Lost at the end of Season Two.

I can't even express an opinion. All I can do is laugh mightily.
Having a crappy day. Day care situation still not worked out and had to throw myself on the mercy of the professor, but I can't make a habit of that. And that's just one among many annoyances. Yesterday wasn't exactly peachy either. First week back to school has thus far been challenging. :/
Meh. It's got to get better from here. There's only so much annoying crap you can fit into a single day....oh, wait....crap. Math homework. And we have gaming tonight. s!!+. I was supposed to do it yesterday but chem homework took way longer than I expected. Aaargh.

Okay, well, that's one cool thing. Bryce has to do at least a half hour of reading time every day as part of his homework and it's sometimes challenging to get him to choose books that aren't too easy for him. But today he decided to start reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. :)

I just got a text that gaming is rescheduled for tomorrow. Normally I'd be disappointed, but today it's a welcome change since it gives me a bit of breathing room.

Howdy folks. Speaking of movies, I watched a trailer yesterday for an upcoming movie called Act of Valor. Here is the synopsis from Wikipeida:
A Navy SEAL squad goes on a covert operation in Yugoslavia to rescue a kidnapped CIA Officer, while also taking down terrorists who aim to strike America.
Cool thing about this is, the Navy Seal team is played by actual Navy SEALs. The movie started off as a recruitment video and grew into a full-length film.

I saw a trailer awhile back, looks like it's gonna be great. And the Actual SEALs being in it is awesome. Similar to Generation Kill, wherein Sergent Rudy Reyes plays himself.
