Scarab Sages

AM NO LAW AGAINST PANTSLESS. PALADIN GOD SAY SO.

PALADIN GOD AM MAYBE DRUNK.

Man.

I am hung over.

I haven't been to a party in the pj's in over a decade. I was not ready for all that booze, but I must say I think I didn't embarrass myself. Maybe my liver is actually manning up after all these years.

Dark Archive

Working 8 shifts this week in 6 days. Lets see if I die from stress.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

What type of work are you doing in Saskatoon?

I love that 'verse. I've always thought that the whole zombie genre is better suited to an ongoing series than a one shot story.

I recently finished the 48-issue omnibus. Talk about bleak!

Silver Crusade

Am I going to have to go "cash only" from now on? Is that going to be the only way to keep thieves from stealing my card information? It seems to happen to me about every 6 months.

I have been thinking much the same. Sorry to hear you have been hit again.

UGH..I'm sorry man. There are certain things I know people should spend cash on instead of using credit- large purchases like TVs, Blu-Ray players, that kinda thing. I hope you are able to get this straightened out.

Silver Crusade

It wasn't my credit card, it was my debit card.

FML

So, debit card is shut down, and it's Sunday so the banks are closed. So that means I'm limited to the $4 in my wallet for the remainder of the weekend. I might be able to move some money around on my internet banking, but, in an unrelated incident, I have locked myself out of it, and that can't be fixed until at least Monday as well.

Also, I have no phone. My phone is broken such that no one that I speak to can hear what I say. I can hear them, but they can't hear me. I'm not up for a new phone until May. I'd buy a new one, but I have no access to my money.

Whoops. I meant to say debit.

What a crappy weekend. I'm sorry, man.

THEN WHY AM CASTY SPEAKING LIKE BARBAIAN?

Liberty's Edge

That's a bad weekend CH, sorry to hear it.

I had something like that happen to me once, on a holiday weekend no less. After that incident, I was never without a hidden stash of cash (about $25 to $50) at home. I haven't regretted that decision since. I hope you do the same in the future.

Liberty's Edge

Same here. While I tend to do most of my transactions with plastic, I always keep about $50 - $100 stashed around the house for emergencies.

Shadow Lodge

I never keep cash on hand, due to always spending it. :/ Hasn't been a problem thanks to two credit cards and one debit card.

Sux, man.....I got mine shut down a couplea months back coz some atheist f~##wad was joining me up to dating services to the tune of hundreds of dollars.

A Christian would never do that.

What is causing this?

Stomach problems + medication ran out. I was having a 'black helicopters' day.

When you're having a helicopter day, always remember: you're really not that interesting. To any of them.

Yeah I'm not usually a fan of media tie-in novels, but I do love me some Walking Dead. I wish Kruelaid's Z-Day game was still running. Hopefully once his life settles down we can get it running again.

+1. I wonder what he's doing. I haven't heard from him in a while.

Well I was going to say a lot of stress went away, but then my wife's aunt dropped dead out of the blue. She just slumped over her computer. Heart started failing and she just slipped away over a few hours. At least it seems to have been peaceful.

I will pass the well wishes on.

Is it just me, or is everything that is being said about the new Batman movie, just seem off? 8 years later and a much weakened Batman must face Bane?? 8 years really? So we introducing Batgirl too? What about Robin? Has he met the JLA yet??

Condolences CJ. Just goes to show you never know when the celestial clock is going to punch your ticket.

Sorry to hear your day is ugh and ugh AZ. Mine is not boding well either, with some exquisite tooth pain making me quite cranky.
