In my home games it works like this, if it's in the service of some sort of power, it's called a demon, if it's a freelancer working for its own agenda it's called a devil. The different types (the official monster type) may tend one way or another, but may fit either of my definitions.

Cool. I like that.

Meh, leave the angel be. He's earned the right to get comfortable.

*tosses throw pillow over the angel's "heavenly bits"*

But I think that may help. :P

Scarab Sages

Howdy folks. Just got back from seeing Prometheus with my brother and an old friend. Interesting film, but I wasn't completely satisfied by it. Seems to me it generates more questions than it answers.

Anyway, now I'm waiting for the wife and her sister to get back - they went to a different movie at a different theater.

Or save him for someone else.

settles in with her morning tea and breakfast

When I went out to water plants this morning, I noticed that two of my three potted tomato plants have fruit on them already. Now if I can just keep the squirrels away from them until they're ripe...

Good morning to all the FAWTLY Folk. Happy Tuesday. We're heading back to Philly today. So it's gonna be a busy morning. Later.

Hello? Hello? Hello? Is anyone in there?

Just nod if you can hear me.

Is there anyone at home?
Come on now
I hear you're feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I'll need some information first.
Just the basic facts.
Can you show me where it hurts?

(disclaimer: if that's where the link goes I can't confirm it, no Youtubing at work)]

Revisiting one of my favorite topics: Professional People Who Cannot Send Professional Emails.

Seriously. I have this licensed financial advisor who is sending me childish emails in huge fonts, putting some words all in caps. I just picture her at her computer foaming at the mouth. She's convinced we are costing her a mutual client. The client loves us - if they have reason to be upset with anybody, it's her. Really, though, words cannot express how crazy her emails look.

BIG BOLD ALL CAPS!

I dunno, he hasn't responded yet.

Ugh. Does anyone out there enjoy writing up evaluations for employees? 'Cause this tree sure doesn't.

Did that for four years. The write-ups AND the one-on-one to explain the annual pay review that goes with it.

The sad reality is that we've already figured out what you were going to make; we give the write-ups and one-on-one to frame it.

That is the filthiest of lies. That said, I'm sure whedon wishes he was both this black and this bald... Although recent photos show he is rushing to catch up to the bald look.
