Hey folks. How's it going?

I'm getting ready to host a board games night. Italian beef sandwiches, potato salad, kohlrabi slaw, green salad for dinner. Then chocolate angel food cake with homemade strawberry ice cream for dessert. And finally, Risk Legacy.. Oh, and beer. Always beer.

It should be a fun evening!

Got any left overs? I promise I'm house broken. ;)

Assembles a plate of leftover sandwiches, salads, and dessert to drop off at the Fawtly house on her way to today's baseball game

Have a great day, folks!

Almost done with homework.

That reminds me, I have a paper to write.

It's due Wednesday.

But I should get started on it, right?

Or bacon.

I think I'll do bacon.

paper. on the history of bacon.

Unless Jonathan Swift and Martin Luther King Jr was involved, I'm afraid that isn't in the cards.

Blasphemy. I'm sure they've engorged on pickled swine.

Well, back to the garden! Gotta love long spring days

*blink*

Since I made a post in "the thread" (in no way inflammatory) that was deleted along with other posts that were inflammatory and someone posted (in response to Ross' post) that "Don't see how calling stupidity for what it is can be inflammatory." I'm curious as to what was posted in response to what I stated.

Could anyone relate? (PM if necessary)

Spoiler:

I have no intent for joining that "conversation".

But, if my post was being referred to as stupid and that was what was being referred to by Xabulba after the responses had been removed then I would still consider the insulting to be going on and flag it.

If I (or my post) was not being referred to as stupid, then nothing to worry about.

By the way, I think I favorited more posts today than ever before. Thanks. :D

Silver Crusade

2 people marked this as a favorite.

We used a gift card I received as an incentive at work for a nice dinner at a French restaurant. Pâté, filet of sole, and soufflé for dessert. All things I don't get to eat very often. It was nice.

Silver Crusade

I believe Thing is referring to a thread(s) I have blissfully hidden. I'm not even going to look.

Saw that, sad really. Images I can't remove.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Monday! Looks to possibly be a dreary week here in Philadelphia - lots of rain. Blargh! I hope the rest of you have a wonderful day.

Scarab Sages

Running a bit late today because the wife forgot Charlie's bag at home. We didn't realize it until we were at daycare. So we had to turn back around and go get it.

Scarab Sages

And, to top it off, Charlie cried a lot when we dropped him off.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of crying - I almost wanted to cry when we had to spend $200 just to get my flight to New Orleans changed from Wednesday to Thursday. F$$+ing airlines. I swear they're more like crime syndicates.

Scarab Sages

Looking forward to some coffee.

Scarab Sages

Almost at work. Bye for now.

Liberty's Edge

Mornin' all. Spent the weekend re-charging from the week. Did I miss anything here?

Scarab Sages

I believe there was some activity which successfully employed fire and acid.

Morning FAWTL. Bacon-enriched breakfast burritos are the order of the day.

I'm sure a zombie soap update will be along shortly... as for me, got my new campaign journal started =) [/shameless plug]

wanders in during her lunch break

Hey, folks. How's your Monday?

I'm having a seriously difficult time focusing on work today. It's grey and rainy, and I really want to be curled up in my comfy chair with a cat in my lap, a knitting project in my hands, a cup of tea on the table, and the latest episode of Sherlock on TiVo. Oh well, another six hours and I'll be on my way to that very thing.

Hmm... perhaps I need a new alias... :)

Stupid typo telling me to use something that doesn't exist in this book being off by one.

NO! CH has not yet seen The Avengers, and must therefore be punished! Therefore - no soap opera updates until he offers me proof he's seen the movie!
