Morning, all. What did I miss?

Well, we moved Karen's dog's vet appointment from tomorrow to today. I REALLY, REALLY hope that they can fix her dog. I would hate to put her "to sleep" after everything else that has occured to Karen lately. Plus, her dog is a good dog. I just do not want her to hurt anymore.

The passing of an era. Goodbye old friend.

Some pictures I took on my trip to Edinburgh last year (I'd add more, but they're mostly of my parents - and I don't like uploading pictures of people before I've asked for their permission.

If I but had the 2 grand I would so buy the final version and the copies of the original ones as well.

Well, Kristen's plans to sleep in were disrupted when her house was rammed by an out-of-control clown car, injuring the driver and all 10 passengers. Meanwhile, Max's efforts to locate a suitable, new grocery store were interrrupted when all of downtown found itself under seige by a flock of crazed parakeets. And, across town at the local highschool, the theft of a pile of used jock straps had police questioning....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

I liked that the red filter-thing was labelled "adcock" (yeah, I'm easily amused after two pints).

the cat staring rigght at the camera is creepy.

your cats or scotish cats ?

My parents' cats. Took the picture when we were unpacking after getting back home (they'd put my whiskey in their suitcase!).

And I sure wish I'd started subscribing to Pathfnder stuff earlier. 50 bucks a month for pdfs of stuff I have hardcopies of already = ouch!

Damn parakeets. Good grocery stores are hard to find downtown.

Ugh. So hot.

I don't know why I even bothered trying to straighten my hair today. It's gone crazy in this humidity.

I wish I could remember when I first started posting on these boards. I know it was back in the Dungeon and Dragon magazine days, and I'm pretty sure it was around the time of the Ago of Worms AP. That must be awhie back.

Wait it turns out my first post was March 23 2006. Guess I'm a bit of a late comer to the paizo boards after all :P

The Exchange

A little sooner than my first post I believe. Of course all I did was Lurk the first two years. All I do now seems to be lurk most of the time too.

Mrgh.

Silver Crusade

March 2006 is pretty early, Jeremy, and the magazines were still alive and well, so that fits.

The Exchange

March 2009. I think I'm still one of the newest FAWTLies. *shrugs*

Sorry I've been MIA this week, been having a pretty good time with Mr Shiny, and works been busy as hell with termite season kicking in around here.

~sad sigh~ Karen's Dog has cancer and her lungs have fluid in them. The Vet gave us some pain meds and some meds to try to reduce the fluid buildup in the lungs. ~sighs again~ Sadly, it is only a matter of time. Damn It!
