Glad to hear it.

So glad, apparently, that I stripped naked for it.

For a minute there, I thought you said you met Hello Kitty.

I...Would have had to visit you if that happened.

You know, my birthday party is in 21... 20 days :P

But put on something first.

It's a birthday party, I have to wear a birthday suit. It's in the title!

So many February birthdays for amazing people....

I wonder what it is about that month. (or maybe May is super sexy)

Liberty's Edge

I was born in February.

May's just a good month for bonin'

I am making halfling Indiana Jones bard|magus!

Brilliant, that'd be a ton of fun to play and perfect.
Whip, pistol(?), Knowledge skills,
Perform (Oratory)?

Scorpion whip (which apparently works with bladebound!), perform oratory, archivist archetype.

Scintillae wrote:

Huh,... This I must investigate further!

I have long wanted to do an Indiana-jones type PC.

Please continue,...

Not sure mine would work so well normally - I'm playing heavily with gestalt (backup character for if my main dies horribly).

But if you wanted to do it with a multiclass, whips are technically a one-handed slashing weapon, and a single level dip into bard gets you whip proficiency and bardic knowledge, and you could finish the rest of the build with just focusing on the magus side. You'd never get beyond your 1st-level bard spells and never actually need a charisma of more than 11 (so you could just buy 10 and go halfling/gnome/some other race that gives a charisma boost), stack bladebound with kensai and go weapon finesse to get rid of a strength dependency as well...

I just have too many character concepts.

I still need to play the barbarian based pretty much entirely on the idea of a "crazy ex." But that couldn't last more than a one-shot.

I dunno, really just playing with things right now.

Fey foudnling on a paladin is nice swift action lay on hands and +2 for each dice rolled to heal.

goood morning FaWtL

Morning everyone.

Obviously, as I GM today, I just had to wake up two hours early because of someone knocking on the adjacent apartment doors... *sigh*

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!! Looking forward to the Iron Man 3 trailer they're gonna show during the game.

I get to close during the Super Bowl.

Hurray! No sports for me, and the store will be so nice and quiet...

Scarab Sages

Otherwise, I think it's gonna be a slow day around the zombie household. Gonna cut my hair. Do some laundry. Not much else.

Scarab Sages

For now, gotta watch over the boy while mommy gets a shower.

SO not interested in the super bowl this year...

True. Liverpool vs Manchester City (soccer), Sävehof vs Hammarby (handball), or Sweden vs Russia (bandy) are all a lot more exciting. ;)

....None of those sports make any sense to me. Except maybe soccer.

Well when half the audience watch for the adverts or Beyonce performing then it can hardly be a sport :P

Anyway, would be nice if there was a bit more handball on TV.

just to make sure, he is talking about olympic or european handball, not the american handball

Kajehase wrote:

Yeah, that won't be on in my house. My dad for some reason hates both of those teams. He's explained before, but I tend to glaze over when sports come up in conversation.

Still not understanding...

It probably isn't a good sign that I always have to stop myself from just spending half of my starting gold on marbles, games, kites, and dice.

I maintain that marbles are excellent for using the light cantrip with. I have yet to devise such an excuse for the rest.

There was an old explosive spell that a friend of mine used to cast on dice in second ed. He was a HUGE FF6 fan, and idolized Setzer.

Hey, one of these days, we will have an evil party, and I will play an alchemist with the delayed bombs discovery...and buy as many rats as I possibly can.

Especially if we can also get a necromancer in the party and completely destroy a town with the ratbomb invasion and still have people to wait on us, severed hand and foot...

...Course, I could also make these concepts into NPCs for a homebrew...

I...kinda like this. These guys would make for an excellent mid-level boss-enemy combo.

Considering the homebrew I'm plotting is essentially "Woo, mad science," there is definitely a place for them...

adds to the list

Eh, I've only got 50 sheets to throw together...for the first area...

I think I may be overdoing it.

Eh, chances are I'll get distracted and use something else instead of them.

Also, I second the evil party thing. It was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my career(?), and even though it took a while to work(first party did not get a long and was a near tpk as a result, with the bard, once again, surviving EVERYTHING), it was a very heartwarming and hilarious experience.

I found it very difficult to watch. Violence does not normally bother me much, even Quentin Tarentino violence, but something about the real-historical brutality in that movie actually left me kind of upset for a few days afterwards.

Pirate darwin as preservationist alchemist.

I'm wanting to stay away from evil characters until I get a good feel for the rules.

It's far more fun to play an evil character when you know the best ways to break everything and everyone than it is to flail about ineffectively.

Sauron vs. Skeletor, essentially.

I'm going back and forth on where I want science to be in Freehold. I want that which came before to be advanced, but not sure I want to go 90's anime cyberpunk, 00's dystopic cyberpunk or 'tweens optimistic steampunk. I want something else. The gnomes made a hell of a lot of things before they died, and they were paranoid about making anti-dragon weaponry.
