Pancakes with coconut milk? Really? What was that like?

Just like normal pancakes, but there's a little bit of extra sweetness from the coconut. I find coconut to be a very versatile flavor. It goes well with both sweet and savory. Also coconut milk makes good cream for coffee. :)

edit: Use light coconut milk. regular is too gloppy and makes a poor substitute. Light coconut milk can be substituted for milk or cream in just about any recipe.

Now for the less pleasant part of my weekend...trying to finish all this homework. And of course everything is due tomorrow and Tuesday. I think I shall be loading up on math classes next term. I need the break. And I'm seriously thinking of changing my major to math anyways. Sorry, FHDM. I know your hatred of all things math. But look at it this way, if people like me who like it take care of all the math stuff, you don't have to. :)

It's like I don't even KNOW you anymore!!!!!!

lol. Sorry, man, I gotta do what makes me happy. And I like math. :)

Ouch!

Ah well - me ceasing to pay attention seems to have worked somewhat. We got a draw at least.

Got studying for econ midterm done yay. Now time to study for analysis.

calls up ACME, gets their "Adorable Oversized Puppy" Costume for $12.44, wears it and scratches innocently at Lynora's back door

How could you like a subject so naturally duplicitous? Did you know there are MULTIPLE ways to solve problems? MULTIPLE! And that the teacher will mark you wrong if you don't do it THEIR way? And they'll mark you even wronger if you don't show your work? It's madness- isn't that what we have calculators for?!?! It's an evil, evil subject, turn away from it before you are consumed!!!

That just doesn't add up.

Returned from the session.

Derp, er Dark Heresy:
Saved the local governor, got rid of problematic but rich nobles, regretfully with their cash and equipment as they were taken into custody by governor's enforcers, went through the upper part of a skyscrapper full of barbarian cultists, survived the corrupting chaotic visions without dying, mutating, going insane or killing each other, sneaked past an ancient chaos marine, found library we were looking for for Sisters Of Battle, looted the books for them and then had to flee from the aforementioned marine using Eldar teleport triggering a cliffhanger until the next Monday... At least we played for almost twice as long as usuall.

And I learned that there are some interesting photos of me and another friend from New Year's Eve 2004. Wrestling. To quote a female coplayer that seen them yesterday: "If I were a gay I would be turned on."

Seriously, I don't recall me wrestling with that friend on that particular occasion - on a few others surely, but not that New Year Eve...

It would be 2004/2005 if I am correct. Those won't be topless photos of me and (male) friends from 2003/2004... I think so, at least.

Spoiler:
2003/2004 was the New Year when I was dancing with a female friend and now the wife of the friend in the post said: "skin on your back is so soft and delicate like the skin of a few of my gay friends... That was a compliment!"

Time to sleep. I have to take a CV to a nearby... Uh, I have no idea what kind of establishment is actually that, but they look for a warehouse worker to sort press at night shift. And the address where they want application delivered is a mere 15 minutes of walk from my home.

Time to sleep I said, not reading wiki...

Damn letters. They force themselves into may brain through the eyes.

Okay, lack of sleep + really annoying customer is quite a bad combination on a monday.

Why can't the idiot accept the fact that I can't do anything about the bill her dumb*** kid has to pay?!

Rain. Cold and wet. Blah.

Yesterday was so beautiful and warm... :(

Bulldozer will be a good fit once my b#$&~ of a dog gets over the fact that there is another, younger dog in the house. The cats like him and he gets along with the cats.

~grins~ OTOH, my dog will be getting a lot more walks and more attention than normal.

Bluh. Could not sleep last night. Tossed and turned for hours, finally dozed then woke up wide awake at 3.30 AM, computered for a little while, then dozed on and off until alarm went off.

Why do I wake up all shaky and trembly and can't get back to sleep?

Heh! Beat the rain to work by less than 15 minutes.

It's my favorite combination of weather today - cold and clear. Looks all nice and warm and sunny, then you step outside and HELLOOOO twenty-five Fahrenheit!

Well, I cancelled my dr appt for this afternoon. Now I just have to throw in some laundry, print out my programs to turn in, and pack my study materials to head off for a day at the library to cram for my chem test.

I really hope it works out for you, Drejk!

A good friend here in Houston brought a buddy into town from Las Vegas for a job. He's just gotten a lease and a car...and they called everyone in for a mandatory meeting (those are never good): they almost closed my friend's entire plant down (he's head of operations), but they opted instead to only shut half of it down. My friend's freind who just entered all those commitments got let go.

::sigh::

it really sucks. My friend has twins on the way, and his wife is on doctor mandated bed rest, so the though of him losing his position was especially scary! :(

The market's relatively strong in Houston, though, isn't it? I hope he finds something else soon. If he does, the lease and car won't have been in vain.

Weirdish.

I came back from shopping and noticed that doors to my room are closed and there is light coming from underneath. I thought it might be my brother or burglar. It was neither. Laptop lied on the table as usuall so it weren't burglar and there were no signs of my brother who hadn't visited me in year or more.

I just don't recall closing the door to my room before leaving as I don't do that anymore since I live alone. But it would explain why I left light turned on...

I've got 1/3rd money I need to survive until the end of the world, er, year. Yay.

Still, the remaining 2/3rd is what worries me.

I think I'll go get a nap now.
