NO Unacceptable!!! I literally scrolled through and wondered what happened to all your posts!

Also now clearly you must be burned for being a witch.

See, you can look like anyone!

For instance, not only do i now have burly arms, I now look like half the people registered for PFS.

That... is a lot of earthquakes.

It's really strange how stable Australia, Central North-Western Africa, and the eastern reaches of both North and South America seem, given the heavy activity nearby.

I didn't notice any along the northern Asia, either.

Europe got more than I expected ('dat Mediterranean, yo), as did the Gulf of Mexico and South America's west coast.

But, daaaaaaang, Polynesia/South-East Asia islands. Dang.

:I

If so, nope, I always assumed Deep 6 FaWtL was a video game I wasn't familiar with and left it alone xD

Welcome to the nuthouse.

I get the desire to have a less than common avatar that Vidmaster7 is talking about, my fondness for Pharasma out weighed that though xD

Somebody needs to tell you the rules, CD<3, and that job has fallen to Arch Excruciator Longears here.

1) Discussion of politics and religion and American sports is discouraged by having flaming bicycles shot at you by a hamster.
2) If your post is at the top of the page and you are not Crookshanks, you are naked.

That's it, although I might invent some more, because I'm the Arch Excruciator, and I can.

That's fine I go out of my way to avoid politics and religion anyway, I'm too easily sucked in.

I'm neither American nor sporty so beyond yeah boy! Heck yeah! Balls and stuff! Yeah! I'm at a loss.

As too the nakedness, thank god someone told me! Wouldn't want to get caught with my pants up now would I.

Back in my day we wore Togas, they just flew off. No need to worry about sudden nakedness.

I haven't sent anything flying off in years.

Tiny Doesn't Like Dinosaurs Anymore* has a field trip today, to the apple orchard!

I still don't know if I get to chaperone.

* He's just trying to be contrary, I have no idea where he gets it from.

They had more than enough chaperones.

I have to admit that I don't get the appeal of Jessica Jones. Granted, I'm only a few episodes in (no Kilgrave scenes yet, just fleeting glimpses), but it's just. So. Damned. Depressing.
"Hey, let's try to make PTSD and alcoholism sexy and stylish!"
I dunno. I used to love dark shows with broken characters. I really liked Sopranos. I really liked Lost. I adored Deadwood. But I haven't been able to watch Mad Men or Breaking Bad (can't make it through the first season of either).

Ask NobodysHome and John Napier 698 for advice. Both deal with computers and John does programming. They might be able to point you to some good tutorials.

Annoyingly, I point everyone to w3schools, but it looks like they don't do Java.

John, any good Java sources?

As long as she stays away from the rules forums, this shouldn't be a problem.

The top of the page rule of course does NOT apply to minors.

Action!Town! is being besieged on all sides!

Tree guys are out trimming trees in the neighbourhood, so the birch trees must be protected at all costs.

And then the a@@$~$+ that sprays chemicals or fertilizer is also about, which means I had to cordon off all the yards with signs telling him to back off our yard and garden every four feet.

Coupled that with walking the dog immediately after dropping Tiny Doesn't Like Dinosaurs Anymore off at school has meant a busy action packed morning for me.

That's pretty much the appeal.

But (and don't tell anyone, it's a secret) she's also meant to be a deep-down good person (and is often called out on her anti-social traits and alcoholism as things that actively interfere with her attempts at doing well, personally or professionally), and, in the end, I suspect the series ends on a hopeful note.

But I'm not going to lie: it's a hard road, so far, and I'm halfway through the end of the last episode, and I honestly don't know.

That said: lol at superhero coincidences!

(Well, okay, I suppose it's only partially a coincidence, considering Hell's Kitchen isn't all that big, and JJ's backstory, but, still. That he* would be associated with those people and happen to be the one that Kilgrave ordered to do the thing? Heh.)

* I am not referring to Luke. No, that just makes sense.

How to make the a$!*&#*s doing the trees to go faster.

Make sure they see you glaring at them, at all times.

Of course, if they were professional I wouldn't have to do that, but condo associations don't hire professionals, just cheap ass barely functioning washed up alcoholics.

Well, the universe has a sick sense of humor.

  • To get my phone's battery's part number so I could order a new one, I had to remove the battery from the phone. Ever since I put it back in, it's been behaving perfectly. So apparently I don't need a new battery.
  • I read NobodysWife's pre-surgery instructions and they just said, "You must have a guaranteed ride home."
She just read the details, and not only do I have to show up in person to drop her off, but I'm not allowed to leave until the procedure is complete. WTF!?!?!
I am seriously being required to sit in a waiting room for 6 hours because they've had so many issues with people not having rides. Once again, I suffer for the lack of others' responsibility.

  • Grrr....

Having been looking at the estimates several professional outfits to remove 7 diseased/dying cedar trees from my yard, I'm fully understanding the appeal of finding a barely functioning drunk to do it on the cheap. I'm considering getting drunk just to have the courage to do it myself. The ER bills from that endeavor should still be cheaper than what some of these guys have been asking.

Teen titans had exactly one good storyline and it was strreeeeeeeeccccchhhheed out(and sanitized. Badly.) for the animated series. I dont think this will be much better.

i don't know. As someone who has had to pick people up before, this sounds less like irresponsibility and more like insurance lawsuit avoidance. I can practically smell the fear coming out of that verbiage.

So that would be believable... if they'd required me to be there for the actual surgery.

As it is, when the surgery occurred, I was at home getting the kids to school. This is a less-invasive follow-up procedure. So it's just weird, inconsistent rules. And when you're both Lawful and obsessive-compulsive, inconsistent rules at the same facility make your eye twitch.
