A friend got me hooked on Europa Universalis IV recently, very good 4X (I think that's the right genre name) game. Now I've got, like, 5 different games going depending on which friends are online at the time. Very entertaining when Ireland manages to take over England (HA!), or Poland great pink blobs all of Russia. Now I just have to colonise America as Ireland and move my capital there. :D

I read all of that after the last time you linked it. I did/am enjoying it. Give your friend random internet stranger compliments! :P :)

Seeing as some people have been mentioning Steam recently, I'll just link this here quickly.
I've got spare Steam keys to all those games, so just give me a shout if anyone would like any of them.

Reading all the people talk about Freddie's reminds me of my favourite (read: most sleep disrupting) internet trerror-fest, the SCP Foundation. Many weeks of sleep have been lost Keter class objects. I'm sure there's a word for enjoying terrifying yourself, but can't think of it.

Not that I actually like horror, I generally avoid it as best I can, due to the sleep wrecking effect it has on me. Heck, I wasn't even able to finish Dark Corners of the Earth 'cause I got too spooked. But whenever I visit the Foundation, I just can't stop myself reading. I think the host must be availing of one of their memetic objects...

It was the Easter weekend I had him for, a 4 day weekend here, and we made good use of the time. A friend of my mom (who had a son of the same name as mine about half a year after mine, without knowing about my own boy, funny the coincidences that happen :) ) gave us a Mickey Mouse egg, which came with a shape for pressing Mickey's face into toast. He was fascinated by seeing the face in his food, and wouldn't eat the toast. xD He scarfed down the whole egg though, which I suppose I should have seen coming but he usually doesn't eat much chocolate before getting bored of it. That's what I get for taking my eye off him after giving it to him. :P Other than that he got an egg from his grand-aunt and from me, which were rationed much better.
I'm scheduled to have him again this weekend, but with the work going on in the house, I wasn't happy I could house him. His Mom is being rather reasonable these days though, so there was no issue putting if off for a week. He's apparently got the chicken pox atm, so the journey would have been extra hard on him anyways, poor little dude. Better young than old though, they say, but I still hope he recovers quickly.

You seem to collect these things like candy =) I'll take a few.
Limbo
Saints Row IV
To the Moon
Those are the ones I know off the top of my head I'd possibly like and don't already have. I might add to the list when I get home and can see my full library.

I can't let a bundle pass, my combined collector/gamer/finance instincts just won't stand for it! :P
Good picks. I'll send 'em on after work. And if you ever want a co-op partner for those games with it, feel free to give me a shout. :)

Ha! I got to favorite everything on the page before Tacticslion :-)
Either his kid has a cold or he's slipping in his old age, I hope it's the slipping one :-)
Even more impressive considering he lives in the eastern time zone, so he's got an hour's head start :-)
... I was dropping my kid off to school. :P
Also, sleeping before that, due to staying up waaaaayyyyy too late making a "new world"*, which is really more of a new creature with some background fluff that may or may not fit into any other setting (like the vaguely "anime-Euro-medieval" one I'm building in my head that's established a bit further north, hence relies on a few northern tropes). ((And which no one has read-and-commented on, so sad... ;P))
* HAH! It's a pun! Get it?! I'm so subtle!**
** One of these four sentences is unlikely to be true.
Sunny here on the western coast, still a chill in the air, but got my shades on enjoying a bit of fresh air. A friend recently got me hooked on Ingress, a mobile AR game, and that's got me moving slightly more than usual. A little rain here and there too, but it's Ireland, what'd you expect?
NICE! I LOVE the rain!
Also, a really good friend of mine was obsessed with Ingress for a while. If you really get into it, and you use it to go walking or biking or whatever, it's really quite good for you.
(I... I haven't.)
I might just take you up on the Steam, 'cause... holy cow, you've got, like, all the "things" that I missed when they were "things"! O.o
(I will likely only take a few, however...)

It's a bit of fun alright, but it's tough as a low level player in an area already dominated by your "faction". There's nothing to do to level up. :P
Feel free! Many of these games have been on the list for years. I think many people feel bad about asking for things from it, coming off as greedy or somewhat, but I am offering, and they're sitting there doing no one any good otherwise. :)

Funny you should mention picking kids up from school :-)
Turns out it was early release today, my wife knew, the school knew, Captain Yesterday? No f@~!ing clue, which would be fine except I also switched phone numbers *sigh* so school had to call my wife at work to see if she could go home with her best friend.
So win-win for everyone.. except me, I look like an a%%~%$# :-)

So far, I've managed to grind out all of my dark elf mage's magic skills up to 100 in Skyrim, except for two. Anyone got any tips on maxing out Destruction and Restoration quickly?
I don't know of any exploits.
You could level Restoration by letting something weak attack you and just heal the damage without attacking back.
My Mage hit 100 Destruction first, so I never had to worry about raising it. You could just keep summoning creatures and killing them.
