Just stand in a pool of water. It'll be easier that way.

Morning. I was sure it will be something like two pm with me sitting whole night playing XCOM. It's noon.

I am sorry that you are disliking XCOM so much. Just send it to me and I will gladly play it for you. ~hopes he fell for it~

I spent the last 3 days in a windowless basement room learning about insurance.

Ugh.

Willingly?

Egads that sounds terrible!

And why do they do that btw, I used to work in hotels setting s&*@ up, and yes if it had to do with training seminars it would get stuffed in the basement, maybe they're secretly sensory deprivation experiments:p

Basement rooms are probably cheaper.

I need the license, so "willing" is a relative term.

Still it must beat forensic science seminars, those were the worst, they watch slides all damn day and insist on having the refreshments in the room, so you gotta set it up without looking at the slides of dead people super magnified, eww.

Also hated religious conventions, looking like cliche Jesus doesn't help I guess, the kicker is you gotta be super nice to them, because you know, hospitality and all, still not every conversation has to start and end with Jesus.

- just going off, I got nothing against Jesus

When I was buying XCOM I also got myself Tomb Rider and Torchlight II on sale for equivalent of a bit less than $12. I haven't installed Tomb Rider yet, but I already started Torchlight... I missed this music so much... Engineer feels more smashy than engineery, though.

Need... more... shelfspace...

For lunch today, my wife put grapes and popcorn in the same bag. Turns out it's pretty good together.

Engineer gets properly engineery between 14 and 21, when you get to summon explosive clockwork spiders and gatling-firing gunbot. Yeah, you get a healbot available at 2nd level, but it is hardly visible, even when it does great job keeping your health full most of the time.

Claw weapons... Outrider, nominally a ranged-focused class with a pair of those... Much higher level, but equipped thanks to fulfilling Dexterity requirement. Pure murder. I almost pity those exploding monsters. Almost.

The only drawback they have is that as melee weapons they don't get bonus from my primary outrider passive skill, and don't spawn shadowling bats after killing opponents, as both require ranged weapon.

Ok, now I am installing Tomb Raider.

Tomb Raider works smoothly at mostly medium settings. Neat.

Must resist temptation of YouTube music binge...

Listening to YT music from various games is disheartening... There are so many games I haven't played and probably won't play them...

Ow. Ow ow. Ow ow. Ow.

Argh. It is so annoying to hear a series of sounds in one song that reminds of another song, but not enough to remember which one...

Look who is sitting in front of computer instead of going to sleep...

At least I have an excuse of revising shadowjack. Those might be some of final revisions before she is ready to see the light of day. Or the darkness of night as it might be.

Of course the revisions created empty levels. Now I need to make some good class abilities for 11th and 15th levels.

I hope it won't end like so many other trailers that contain all the fun that is in the game/movie... It's great but it would be good if there would be more beyond this.

I was just reminded that the film "Dungeons & Dragons 3: The Book of Vile Darkness" exists. After watching several clips, I've become convinced that a far more appropriate title would be "Dungeons & Dragons 3: Attack of the Murderhobos." Or better yet, "Dungeons & Dragons 3: A Fairly Typical Adventuring Party in a Game Run By High School Students."

Ok, I think that's enough for now... I need to go to sleep before I end listening to a loop of three Miracle Of Sound songs.

I had no idea there was a third, after that fine second one I thought they had quit.
