~bangs my head against the wall~

Another night of doing someone else's work. And the store manager doesn't give a sh-t. Oh well, time for bed.

I managed to get 3 minis mostly painted this week. I think I am going to try to spend an hour a night working on either terrain or painting minis as often as possible.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

Sharoth, I am sensing some frustration directed at T-Mobile...

A question for all FaWtL:

Has anyone heard anything from HD? My last contact was two days after our trip to Irving to return my exiled gaming stuff. He was in my Wednesday game but has not appeared in three sessions. That is over six weeks ago.

I'm not a fan of tmobile either. Feel free to raze their lands and eat their sheep.

Will attempt to contact him.

He has not been posting much. He added a picture yesterday on his FB wall about "Voting: is deciding which criminal gets all your stuff." I think he might be trying to lay low because of the over heated and insanity going on with politics right now.

I have sent him 8 texts in the last week or so and have had no response. I was beginning to wonder if he had gotten locked up again. Tell him to let me know what is happening. Also tell him, "It is first come first served". He should know what that is in reference to.

I have the work phone, but I was with the company that became T-Mobile before I started working with AT & T.

On the plus side, my bluetooth headset works with the company phone.

Well, Justin's naked ramblings were finally enough to get him declared legally insane by his co-workers, who then proceeded to lay claim to all his brilliant inventions. Meanwhile, Max and Jason's adventures south of the border took a turn for the dangerous when they came across a creature that could only be the legendary chupacabra. And, across town, protests against Facebook took a turn for the bizarre when....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

So, apparently they were randomly choosing people here at work to audit their travel vouchers - the paperwork we fill out to pay for our travel expenses. Guess who got picked for the audit. And who came through squeaky clean!

How often does that sort of thing happen? I mean I know why they might do it ... still that sorta stinks especially depending on how far they might go back and audit.

I have travelled alot for work and I might seriously be screwed if only because I don't keep my stuff after I turn it in for payment. We pay for our own stuff then expense it.

Mrgh.

Gah. Only 1 hour left until its Thursday. Think I'll have a banana and go back to sleep.

Well at least its comic book day. Ah to do my weekly mecca to ARC.

Slow day in Fawtly-land?

Would it be wrong to make my next Skyrim character a Nord warrior named Hiccup? I mean beating them to death is a valid way of training your dragon... right?

Damnit I just got on here and I'm freaking exhausted... I hate termite season.

I do hope everyone is doing well, or well enough... physically, I know none of us are all there mentally.

Some days I'm just really thankful... like today I'm thankful I don't have overly curious neighbors, and I am also thankful for duct tape turning the words NOOOO!!! NOOO!!! into MMPH!!! MMMMPH!!! since 1943. :P

What the heck? You came to the city of my work on Monday?

RE HD: I had a thought today that he'd seemed scarce lately.

Today's pull box at the comic book shop wasn't bad at all. I've enjoyed the selection so far. Now onto to other things like dinner and bills. This Wednesday seem ordinarily, eh, ordinary...

@Mairkurion {tm},

I came up at the end of March mainly to see my Father and arrange to pick up exiled gaming stuff. Sorry I didn't let you know. I promise I will next time. Send me an email at silverhair2012(at)gmail(dot)com and I will give you my phone number.

EDIT: I had a brain fart. We are still in April. I went to Irving the end of March. Corrected above.

Paizo stuff in my downloads!! Seems not all Thursdays suck. :D

Liberty's Edge

Hello everyone.

Went out to the Vision Australia office today to pick up some stuff for my son; two angled writing boards, a new ipad, a special sleeve sort of thing and stand for the ipad, $100 of itune gift cards and $100 amazon gift card for kindle reader stuff ... all at the government's expense! Sweet.

Not to get political, but I don't normally have too many kind words to spare for the federal government here (Australia), but they are pretty good at looking after people with disabiliites and impairments (once you get through all the red tape).

Scarab Sages

Good morning to all my wonderful FAWTLY Friends!!! Happy Thursday (I hope). Got a decent night's sleep last night, and now I'm ready to face the day (not really) with a (forced) smile on my face and joy in my heart (more like barely contained murderous rage).

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a subconcious to beat into submission (help me).

Scarab Sages

And that is one of the weirdest posts I think I've ever typed.

Scarab Sages

When we dropped Charlie off at daycare today he started to follow us as we walked out the door - with his little arms raised and bleating like a wounded sheep. I think my wife was close to tears.

This was the weirdest post I ever typed and comedic gold!!! But no one appreciates comedy.

Scarab Sages

That one did make me chuckle a bit Jeremy.

Scarab Sages

In fact, I'll probably use that line of yours at work today. Always leave them laughing.

Or in traction.

Man that must have been hard, sometimes parenting can hurt.

Scarab Sages

Naah, it wasn't that bad. At least, not for me. I knew that once we were out of sight, it'd only take about 30 seconds for him to start smiling and laughing. Especially once they bribe him with cheerios.

Scarab Sages

I do recall that, the very first time we ever dropped him off for the day, the wife cried on the way to work. Since then, she's been pretty good about it.

OMG :( :( :( I still tear up when Riley Bug doesn't want me to leave.

<<< I cried ALL the way to work, and for the whole first week. And when he went to school and took the bus I cried at the bus stop, and the entire way to the school as I followed his bus :P

Paizo is slowwwwwww today :(
