It's a lovely rainy day today. Now I'm wishing I'd changed my windshield wipers yesterday since one of the ones currently on my car is broken. Oh well. Only place I have to go is to pick up the kidlet later this afternoon and that's only a couple of blocks away, so it could be worse. :)

Losing a pet is always hard.
My condolences as well, we had to put my wife's cat to sleep a few years ago she had had him since she was 10.

Thanks everyone. Poor Karen, she was so upset. It also hurt when she looked at me and said "And we have to do this six more times?" Another dog and 5 cats.

The dogs are the youngest with the older one being just over 3 years old. But I have one cat at 8, the sisters will turn 10 this year, and the alpha male feline has to be at least 12.
It's inevitable. I probably mourn more for the loss of a pet than I do with most people.
But it'll never stop me from having more throughout my lifetime. I couldn't have a home without a companion animal.

I've finally bowed out of my 3.5 game. :( I didn't want to, but it's the best for all.Why's that?
The one hour drive is no longer worth the three hours of game time we get twice a month. It costs too much in gas for too little benefit. We'd been away from my campaign for a long time, and getting back into it and integrating the three new players was not worth the effort.
Got a call this morn from a charity, trying to set up a free home inspection for roof, siding, or window work. When I said no they didn't even hit me up for $, which I thought a bit strange. A web search reveals that this may be a window company that created a charity so they could bypass the Do Not Call list. I've filed complaints all over the place, and sent a summary to my local news. Disgusting.

We're probably turning in our cable gear today, which means that for the next couple days, my internet presence may be spotty.
I know that feeling all too well. On the plus side I made a lead that might get me two weeks pay for an afternoons work. Nothing up front though sucks.

Easily. Many don't because "friends" come out of the wood work. I would share but I would not tell a soul it was me. That being said the winning ticket in Kansas was the other side of the state from me.
Meh, we have been blessed with many generous people in our lives, we would want to give. But I see what you are sayin'..... freakin' scrubs :P
