I'm out of beer. The wife says we're going to Costco on Friday. I hope they have some of those Fathers' Day gift packs of Duvel left.

AZ (or anyone else), have you ever brewed your own rootbeer?
We did so in junior high science class using Hires extract.

Also several Tropes fit Kansas...
Flat as a pancake
Tornadoes every weekend.
Rednecks are amongst us.
The Idyllic rural living situation. They just use different names for it all. And none of them are exactly true.
No matter how flat you make a pancake, it's always got two sides.

I'm pretty sure I never lurked on this thread. I just jumped in with both torches. I mean feet.
I'm "pretty sure" because I don't remember seeing Solnes join.

I don't know...i did wanna get caught up, after all.
By long-term I mean off-an-on since #2 or @3, iirc.\
And I had about 4 or 5 hours at work the other day with nothing to do, from about 0000-0500 or so. FAWTL kept me awake, thankfully, all 300 some odd pages of it.

Reminds me of the time my mother and aunts pushed my carriage out on a lake and then moved back to the shore to take a picture. I don't remember it, of course, but they do.
It's a rat race, kiddo, and you'll have to learn to sink or swim.

Actually, if it lives, can I have it?
