B!~&~$@$. I've seen kids smaller than that shovel snow with great effect. And I don't mean they play around in it while dad does the work. They grab a shovel and clear the driveway/sidewalk/whatever because that's what needs to be done. Hell, I was one of those kids once upon a time (a long time and many, many cheeseburgers ago). So don't tell me that you are incapable of shoveling a little snow.

There's no snow here! Ever! Unless you go to Snow City. I don't KNOW how to shovel snow.

On the other hand, I spent 45 min helping my colleagues move a whole bunch of files from one side of the office to another. I suppose if I really wanted to work out, I shouldn't have used the trolley, but I was more concerned in getting the job done quickly.

Well, since 2nd shift didn't feel like doing her job, I just cleared the snow from the main entrance. It was about 3" deep, with some drifts over 5". And of course it's still snowing, so I'll have to go and shovel some more later. Hopefully not too much, but some.

that is less than a scint of snow. What a lazy so and so.

Yeah their is a lot of really terrible stories from many a profession. Never! ask a child psychologist their worst story. I don't know how he got it out and continued class.

Profession I wouldn't ask about their worst experience:

Obstetrician.

In jobs dealing with humans in pain, life or death, you carry them with you. It's how it has to be. If you can't do that, you can't do the job. See, you have to see them as humans, not statistics, to function at it. The comic understands.

One colleague wants a boob jobs and then they all do (if they have boobs).

Fair enough, it's their bodies/money, but I'm kinda glad that it's one thing I do not need to worry about.

We don't really celebrate MLK day up here in the cold dark north, but happy MLK day to all of you, on that side of the pond.

I do appreciate the artwork too though :P

What's an abscondi cave?

Caracals are cute =) They used to train them for hunting, you know.

Also I think I can look at dead bodies without flinching. I saw the body of someone who had committed suicide by jumping off a high rise building, there was all that cordon off so body was still fresh, my only reaction was like,"Surprisingly clean, where's all that blood and gore"

I'm looking at another 19-hour day today. Why? It's because I'm supervised by clowns trying to be clever by moving not enough guards to sites where there are vacancies. I've got a solution. Hey, Idiots! Hire more Guards! I'm so very tired of being taken advantage of.

Well, this is one of the more frightening emails I've received from the Rainbow.

"Could you put a IV bag of holding into a I bag of holding or a Handy Haversack without opening a dimensional rift?"

I think it depends upon the practictioner.

My midwife started out her career as an Army medic in the '70's, then trained as a midwife among the migrant community in south Texas along the border before eventually drifting to California. Five years ago she "retired" (my son was her last baby), married a fisherman up on the north coast, and started her retirement career as an end-of-life midwife.
Since she and Cod live in an isolated village hours away from hospitals or funeral directors, she assists in hospice care, lays bodies out, and assists the families in home burials.

She called this a "natural and logical transition".
