Scarab Sages

Poop! Not as grand a day as I was hoping it would be.

The sky is clouding up. Hopefully, we won't get more rain.

And there was grilled teriyaki chicken wok at the food court today.

Thank you, Treppa! :)

Happy badgah day!!

I bookmarked Fawtl instead of leaving completely, so now I go to my Paizo People Page and here. Does anybody know if there's a tag I can put in the bookmark for 'new posts only'? Because, let's be honest - most of this stuff doesn't need a first reading, much less rereading. :P

EDIT: Nekkid... new posts? Bookmarks?

Not too titillating. 'Titillating' is kind of titillating. 'Dinghy' is not.

I'm glad you found a way to stick around, Treppa.

That we have another FAWTL-approved place we can hang out should this one become momentarily unbearable.

Yeah we seem to have lost our eldest member =\

Political threads? What political threads? My OTD forums are only filled with silliness thanks to the power of Ø.

I use it sometimes. If you used it for all political threads, then there'd only be 15 threads left in OTD.

doctor_wu wrote:

Yup. I wouldn't be here without it. The majority of my 2-year FAWTL hiatus was due to not having that button at that time. It got invented/added some time after I left.

i am Øk with this

However I just finished going through the board and hiding all political threads not yet in the archives and there are quite a lot more than 15 ;)

Ø my god, yØu guys.

This button is the best Øf all time.

It is indeed a Brilliant inventiØn.

I might have been using a conceit known as "exaggeration". Either that, or I don't know how to count, because I'm innumerate.

Most of my issues come nowadays from the 'borderlands': Threads that aren't supposed to be political, but have people attempting to broach political subjects in them.

Hello FAWTLies! I hope Thursday is kind to you all.

I'm on my way to do a final walk-through of our former space in preparation for the last of the furniture to be removed so the renovation can start. Then I have a going away lunch for a soon-to-be-former colleague.

And then... And then this evening I get to go watch my Nationals whup up on the Cubs. (Have I mentioned lately that I love this baseball season? I LOVE this baseball season!)

May your nationals enjoy the fruits of victory. Until they come across my team of choice, but that is a direction we shall not go in, as we do not fight over inherent sports team superiority on Fawtl...

Hidden for baseball talk:
Oh dear, given where you're from, I'm afraid to ask what your favored team is, because both of the NY teams are... special. (To be fair, though, my only real dislike of the Mets is that their fans are so freakin' obnoxious when they come to our park. I'm sure they're lovely people under other circumstances, but they are mostly drunk, obnoxious jerks in our ballpark.)

A couple of my dear friends are in a mixed marriage: a Yankees fan and a Mets fan (one from NY and the other from NJ originally). They are, however, raising their daughter to be a Nats fan, since she's lived in the DC area her whole life. I've been enabling this effort as much as possible. :)

Pretty much. I'm about to give up on the 'Did you know?' thread with the polititrolls creeping in bit by bit. I think I shall go out in a burst of flame though.

wow. That sucks. What did we do?

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

I hope it wasn't anything we did, but it might be like when Orthos left for a while. There aren't many threads on the boards where you can have an actual conversation, without someone wanting to win the Internets.

I don't think it was us, since he's still posting and speaking friendly in the KQ FAWTL thread.

Is it bad to want to start a thread just because saying popcorn might actaully be on topic?

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

However, he did leave after I started posting heavily on this thread again. Hmmmmm...

At least until a crazy cop dog and rabbity thing send you a virus in the mail, thus reducing you to an graphicless Zork-like state.

No virus can do worse than what all that porn has done to me...

;_;

If the stars are aligned right tomorrow evening, there may be a collusion of FaWTLies in Western Michigan.

We shall soon see.

This is me giving another shout out to my fellow NYCers; maybe it'll happen this weekend!

(I went to the Compleat Strategist last weekend, so I don't need to do that again. Great place, but veeery tight!)
