So I'm into the new place and it's very nice. Just got the internet set up and all my stuff arrived today. So the unpacking begins and the excitement of me setting up my new gaming room begins.
Congratulations Jeremy. Good luck in setting up the new home.

I have been winning that battle without sustaining heavy losses lately – I think it helps that Isaac is really enjoying the bed time stories I have been reading him lately, and he knows that he doesn’t get his story until he packs up his toys ... and if packing up his toys takes him too close to or past his bedtime, he doesn’t get the story at all.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is correct. Sigh.
Oh, wait...hey, he's finally ready! Yay! Now I can start getting ready for bed. Early for me, but allergies are killing me here.

How's tricks ?Hey, you. :)
Some good, some bad...like usual I guess. School started for me this week, and for the kidlet next week. Lots of adjustments to the new schedule.
Pretty much. :)
Could do without the fatigue, but apparently my wishes are not consulted in these matters. I don't know why not. Must be an oversight somewhere. ;)Justin Franklin |

Take care all!
I've got a pile of real life crap on my plate. I thought I had a job lined up for the end of this month (that fell through), but I was trying to handle various things before that. When I'm working I typically work mad hours like 90+ a week so it's all I can do to keep up with anything outside of work. I'm supposed to be starting a project in Utah around the end of Sept. so I've still got a lot on my plate. Diane's youngest grand daughter went back to school, and we are trying to fly her oldest grand daughter back here from Florida to get her into school weeks late. She went to Florida with her Mom, but that has gone poorly due to the Mom's addiction issues. Diane's ongoing neurological issues are worsening, and we've had to drive to Denver for batteries of tests. Finances, tax issues, job hunting, some family and friends needing help, and a bunch of minor stuff are all just kind of adding up. Basically it's just life being interesting. I try to analyze and work each issue withing my larger plan for my goals, but many things remain stubbornly beyond my power to control. I've learned to accept the things I can't control with more grace as I age, but I've always been the go to guy when things need handling and the things I can't fix still irk me particularly when kids are being put in a bad spot.
On the bright side my Dad and sister in College Station are doing well, and my daughter, son in law and grand kids are doing great. I'm really proud of them.
Hang in there. I've also gotten some crappy works news these last couple of weeks. Looks like I will be getting what my old adviser so bluntly called "a stupid job" until I can make some things happen. Which will take some time. :-(

I think it's sha'n't. It's like...a double contraction?
Yes! I did! Sort of! Though we didn't get funding confirmation until Friday! And I went in anyway to bug bomb the place!
I would take photos to show everyone...but it would be a futile exercise that would leave everyone squinting and saying things like "I think I can see a doorknob between the camera strap and the pinky finger in this photo!"

Seemingly so, apparently the average flatlander doesn't care one way or another what the other persons view is, as long as they aren't flashy loud and obnoxious about it. Seriously here in Saskatchewan both the liberal and the conservative party fell flat on their faces from people being fed up with them, and they formed a coalition party called the Saskatchewan party. You heard me right the liberal and conservative politicians formed a political party together...... where have I moved? :|

After all of the unpacking and moving furniture around I feel like I was actually cobbled together from spare parts.
Reminds me of this song. Or have I been listening to him too much lately?

Bullshit. If I started bashing LGBT organizations how long do you think it would take for posts to be deleted and I receive a timeout? It sure as hell wouldn't survive to be a damn 500 page thread.
No offense to our non-traditional Fawtls, the obvious bias around here just gets under my skin from time to time.

I do understand, I've tried to call them out before on that thread as an atheist and as a gay individual, at best they ignore it, at worst they just obfuscate and subtly insult me. Believe me I'm aware of the bias but I can't do much about it. It makes me just as sad.
