First day on the phones and I get stuck all by my lonesome because there is not enough people to buddy jack with. Yet I am second in sales and the only one who logged in, in a minimum of time and had minimum of help during the day.

Speaking of McDonalds....
I go in this morning on the walk back from the service station figuring I'll just get a quick coffee and be on my merry way. Two old dudes ahead of me in line, and ahead of them, actually at the counter, was this young woman blabbing away on her cellphone. She was indecisive, slow to acknowledge and answer questions from the staff, and all around annoying.
As I was leaving, I watched this same young lady, still blabbing away on the phone and not paying attention, almost get hit by a car coming out of the drive-thru. As I passed her up I had to restrain myself from stopping and saying something like....
"why don't you take the f**#ing cellphone out of your damn ear and pay the f%%% attention before you cause some poor bastard to feel extreme guilt after he hits you with his car, you f&&@ing ignorant moron."

I worry that people might be reading meanings into FAWTL posts that aren't there.

And, I get a text from the wife saying she's not sure when she's gonna get out of work. Started off as "I only need to go in for the out brief meeting". Then it progressed to "I have a meeting with the captain right after the out brief". Now this.
