That was about 3 years' worth of random stuff I wrote. Some of it was backed up, but what with not having much memory space on here or the Linux computer (from dad's work), I lost a fair bit of stuff that I actually cared about (better part of a novel, random name generator, almost all of my schoolwork [well, I don't care so much about that], and several part-done adventures). I'm sure I'll think of more stuff that I lost later.
At least it didn't somehow wipe my email. (I don't use Outlook.)

Get it! Read it! Love it!
I'm amused at how many people are saying Arthur Miller wrote Canticle.

OK!!! To all my FAWTLY brethren who have attended a PaizoCon:
I am making plans (i.e. saving up cash) to attend next year. So I have some questions for those who have been there/done that (or Paizo employees), so to speak....
1. Starts on a Thursday, correct?
2. Has it been the same hotel the last two years? If so, which one?
3. What is the cost of the tickets for the Con?
4. I've heard the banquet is separate, so how much for those tickets as well?
5. When do these tickets go on sale?
6. When will the dates for the next one be announced?
7. What is your name?
8. What is your quest?
9. What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
:)

2. Yes. Coast Bellevue.
3. $35.
4. $25.
5. February/March.
6. Shortly before tickets go on sale.
7. Moophistopheles.
8. It's not the journey, it's the destination.
9. Don Knotts.
Way cool!

I'm looking for jobs in benefits administration/payroll (or other officey work as the opportunity presents itself).
Maybe not forever, but right now I need something to get started in a new place.

Just finished pretty subdued Midsummer celebration. Lit a bonfire (it wasn't that big, as we use a lot of scrap wood for the stove in winter), sat/stood around it and spotted a couple of nighthawks, which was cool (they're rare here, though we had been hearing them a lot so we knew they were around). Burned some old concrete bags, which made a strange shade of yellow (but didn't actually burn that well), cherry wood, willow, random paper compostables, a pine round, and some of my precious cedar-bush (precious because we killed it and it's really flammable). Then came inside and had strawberry pie with whipped cream.
