Stupid fred Williamson setting keeps making me naked whenever I use this thing! looks for update

I will include this in the q2 poster

Go ahead! A peach notification should keep some of the more acerbic/idiotic critiques to a minimum.

I have been debating posting some info on my custom setting in the homebrew section since I've mentioned it several times in various places. However I dread some of the responses and really don't need the feedback as I already have most of the kinks worked out. *shrug*

Methinks you misread something ;) The only soulless gnomes were the first ones to cross over and the ones still over in fairyland... all the ones born on the Prime are soul-ified.
No, no. This is just MM's unreasoning hatred of the gnome race showing through. Honestly, I think mayhaps he was tortured by some gnomes in a previous life.

If only he'd taken the lesson to heart... *cackles evilly*

Just wait for the inevitable 'NO!' hehe

There's a family at my church who taught their kids to sign before they could speak. It's kind of awesome.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

I started the morning off right: by dropping a bottle of shampoo on one of my toes. Somehow I have to pass off this limp as a swagger. Any tips?

What kind of swagger? Intimidating or Better-than-all-y'all?

I vote for both.

Welcome to the boards, Scintillae. Say goodby to your sanity.

No tips on helping with the swagger, but you could think of Spanish footballer Santiago Cañizares who missed out on the 2002 World Cup after he severed a tendon in one of his feet after he'd dropped an after-shave bottle. (Ouch!)

I majored in education and was in drama club. Sanity's long gone.

Sanity is a playground for the unimaginative!

I'll go with Sharoth's tip and say both.

Also, I hope this toe is not broken. It should not be this painful for this long...

I am stealing this.

It reminds me of something my brother said to me, because we both have the habit of laughing randomly at things going on in our head even though no one has said anything. When somebody was teasing me for that, he said, "People who can't make themselves laugh or who don't talk to themselves once in a while are people who don't think."

Dang! I was hoping my suggestion would be helpful.

I hope you feel better soon, though.

I wish I got more sleep last night.

Talk like a pirate and they'll think that you're in character

Now we're on to something.

:(

He was my favorite author. I have an old paperback of Fahrenheit 451 that I got signed by him when he did a book signing at the Borders store in Ann Arbor way back during the first time I was in college.

Just got out of a staff meeting. I survived the twin knives in the back I got from my boss and supervisor for asking a lot question that they told me to ask them about at the start of every month in staff meeting.

Not long for this place, I am.

insert flirtation with Scintillae, other FAWTLy females here, generic hateratin for the tripod of evil here. I'm so upset I'm not going to post this out, just ooc it.

Good luck finding something new, I'd recommend starting looking now but I'm pretty sure you already knew that.

Met with my acedemic advisor this morning. It will be both more and less complicated than I expected to transfer. However the prereqs to get into the engineering program are even more ridiculous than previously thought. I'm a full year behind where I need to be with the math requirements. Now I'm regretting not taking calculus over the summer. :(

It is one of the middle toes. They do not set, splint, or otherwise treat those toes when they break, so even if it is broken, they will just tape it and tell me to take Tylenol. We'll see how it goes.

Yeah. It sucks to break a toe. I hope it's just badly bruised and not actually broken, CH.

Now I am thinking of the squeze theorem. Hugs.

My grandma broke her toe recently.

Yep. The big toe is another matter, and the outside toe needs special protection because it is exposed, but the middle ones are a lost cause.

Actually they don't do anything if you break your pinky toe either. You just get stuck wearing sandals until it heals. At least that's what happened to me.

Not me. Ohio is switching from quarters to semesters beginning this autumn, so that abbreviates the summer quarter from 10 to 8 weeks. F#@k that! I'll pick up Calculus in the fall when I have 15 weeks for it, which I hope will help me better with the formulas sinking in. I do great on my quizzes and homework, but I bomb on the finals. Thankfully, it's only 30% of my grade so I can get by with a B for the overall grade.

Lynora, I'm sorry. That sounds incredibly frustrating.

CH, I hope your foot heals. A broken toe is no fun, you would be surprised how much you rely upon them.

Gah homework not posted yet...

I'll confirm this. Except the sandals (during November in Scandinavia that could lead to loss of the toe altogether).

Silver Crusade

Hmm. It is getting more and more painful. I think I may have to go home and put some ice on it. I didn't want to miss work, because I was out the last two days for my trip, but it's getting to be a bit much.
