I do that naked, too.

I suspect the guy who wrote this would disapprove, Urizen.

(Someone, please tell me that's a strawman-site.)

If you mean strawman as in a satire or being a Poe, then yes.

Thank you.

Feeling like the Geico Pig, off to buy this weeks supply of comic books squealing.

The real story behind why Edward Munch painted The Scream

And a somewhat interesting piece on the evolution of one art critic's take on art criticism in the age of the blogosphere.

Heh. I wasn’t familiar with the site and I really couldn’t tell whether it was serious or not.

It did make me want to watch Game Of Thrones though.

They have a Facebook feed that I've followed for some time. I refrain from liking or sharing anything from it because - as some of you have observed - some of the things mentioned are very plausible where you have a hard time determining whether they're serious or taking a page out of The Onion's book of satire.

Hence, it's a clever Poe.

The preceding post as well as this one were brought to you by voice recognition.

Scarab Sages

F+&@ing sweet. Just notice this little microphone emblem below the keyboard. Voice recognition typing! I'll never misspell rouge again! :)

The Exchange

I will hold you to that. Nothing is more annoying than to see the city called Baton Rouge.

That'd be a good name for the riot-police if France ever becomes a Communist police state. ;)

I thought Commies knew not to drop their rifles?

Liberty's Edge

That's just the strength of your love for that city. You can't even get it wrong when you try!

The Exchange

Yes, I wish I could at least visit again.

Kinda depends on the brand - the ones I had most contact with growing up were die-hard pacifists (so obviously I didn't grow up in Eastern Europe).

Liberty's Edge

The French have made dropping rifles an art form...

Tired. Oh so tired

Scarab Sages

Same here Monkeyman. Been up since quarter after 10 yesterday morning, and still have a few hours to go. I mean, I could have gone to sleep as soon as I got back from the ship, but since I've got shit to take care of early morning, I figured why bother going to sleep yet.

Scarab Sages

Ah f!+~. No more monkey. Better go write some emails.

*Grumbles* No sleep night #2. Thank you GAD for making my life so awesome...........

Here's the worst part, it's like anxious feelings over NOTHING and because you have that ramped up anxious feeling in your gut, you can't sleep and it won't go away. And I'm completely clear headed and lofical that for some reason my stress level is super high over nothing it doesn't affect my emotional state and then frustration gets compounded onto it. And now the freaking doctor wants to give me Ativan as an emergency inhibitor. And I don't really want to be on more freaking pills. And now I'm rambling in FAWTL with no one around, and likely just annoying people. Yayyyyyyy!!!!!!

So I'm just gonna ramble I guess.... maybe it'll get cathartic after awhile.....

Oh and here's a nice kicker turns out I have a late onset allergy to alcohol. Really weird huh? Aparently only about 7% of allergies end up being late onset but there you go. Of course this has the added benefit of me not being able to drink like a normal guy to deal with stress hahahahahaha love life. I can also blame my dad for this one cause he has it as well as a cousin of mine. And how in the hell does a german bloodline end up with alcohol allergies? It would only be more ironic if we were Irish.

I also considered marijuana but lets face it I am way to lame and straight edge for pot.

And I bet I am still the only FAWTL awake other than the baking monkey. And the (I think engineer) Zombie who are both doing at least something to keep them busy.

Hmmm.... contemplating taking a sleeping pill but need to check my pharmacology text first to see if it'll react badly with my other meds.

I think this is the first time I've FAWTL all to myself.

And why have I never used this alias?????????????
