What makes it great is that I have loads of friends who have gone to take art classes in college. That and D&D has kept me from getting too rusty. Also in group projects, I'm always designated to make concept art, sprites, textures, or 3d models... Though that actually annoys me because I just want to program and I get so picky about programming. I usually have to go in and fix the coding and no one makes comments, everyone uses vague variable names, and it's like nobody knows anything about modularity and they wonder why it doesn't work with each other's code...
Also recursion... I really hate it when someone uses recursion where a simple for loop would be fine and much more efficient and readable, but they fail to use it when it's pretty much necessary such as dealing with certain things of variable lengths such as binary trees...
Okay I think I need to stop ranting about programming, there are many subjects I could go off on that deals with how a great many people in college code...

Which day do you arrive? We actually arrive the evening of Tuesday 7/3 and we are staying through Monday morning.

I love snow. I love cooler weather and pretty much die in warm weather. Though, I apparently generate more heat than most of the people I know.
Snow is great on vacation when you can make snow sculptures and pelt people with snowballs, but yeah I can see it being a pain in the ass when you're trying to go to work; especially when people don't know how to drive in it...

I definitely prefer cold weather. And I do like snow, but I really hate to drive in it. Especially since my car has no traction. It's been known to fishtail while driving cautiously in a rainstorm. It's a great, reliable car other than that one not-so-mild problem. Ah well. At least it runs. :)

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Scott and Gary's visit to Max in LA took a turn for the worse when they were accosted by a rogue birthday clown who forced them to put on clown shoes and tap dance on the street corner for loose change. Meanwhile, Jason's evening plans were disrupted by the unexpected arrival of his next-door neighbor's evil twin. And, across town, a genetically mutated donkey ran amok through a....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

I've been teasing the players in my pbp for months now because I've been drawing group portraits of all of the characters. I'm up to 9 pages with between 5 and 9 characters each on them and there's still some new characters that I'll have to go back and get later. I am absolutely determined to get these things finished and up on deviantart by the 27th because that's the one year anniversary of the start of the game. We'll see if that happens.
