Howdy Mothman!

The Coolhaus ice cream truck in Los Angeles sells more than 500 ice cream sandwiches each day. One of its unique ice cream flavors is Brown Butter with Candied Bacon.

Happy Friday the 13th to one and all.

Short work day today. Thank you flex time!

Scarab Sages

And, once again, we find ourselves in the middle of a miniblitz.

Scarab Sages

Maybe one day we should have a Talk Like a King day, where we all use the royal plural.

Scarab Sages

We greet our friends and wish them good day.

Scarab Sages

We are already wondering what we should have for lunch today.

Good morning FAWTLys! Now its off to work.

Edit: Yikes - its a little chilly today even here in Texas for going to work nekkid. I'll put on a scarf at least.

Gaahh!! Sneaky! I almost didn't notice you there.

Scarab Sages

Did you ever get the feeling you were being watched?

Scarab Sages

That the eyes of strange things were upon you?

Scarab Sages

Sometimes, there's entirely too much love going on.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of love, for some reason, music is going through my head that sounds like the theme to a 70s porno.

Scarab Sages

Listen! Do you smell something?

Scarab Sages

All right, that's enough for now. Later folks.

I "passed" my first phone interview with Amazon, so now I've got one more phone interview, and, if all goes well, I'll be flying out to Seattle for an on-site interview.

If this works out, I'll be in Toronto just as it's thawing out. :)

GO BADGAH!

I'm still not sure if I'm dyscalculiac or not. As I want to go to grad school this year, maybe I should get tested.

Today I am studying math by memorizing the lyrics to a goofy song. Silly, yes, but since I learned the quadratic formula by singing it to the tune of pop goes the weasel...well, obviously it works. :)

*ahem* that's Haterade(tm). And I produce it in several flavors, my personal favorite being Whedon Hate, which tastes like muscat grapes. cracks open a bottle and takes a long, languid sip Ah. Refreshing. And don't forget our other varieties, such as Facebook/Zuckerberg Hate(strawberry) , and Alton Brown Hate(licorice) . And although the holidays are over, we also have I Love Y-Wings(sparkling apple cider) , a special non-hate flavor just for the holidays. poses for product placement

FreeholdDM hates a bunch of stuff (he owns stock in Haterade, it's hard to keep up :-)

Moorluck is our fearless leader, but, honestly, I'm the silent power behind the throne...

Aberzombie produces a long running and quite popular soap opera.

And everything belongs to Spanky the Leprechaun.

You must strip if your post is top of the page.

And a bunch of other stuff.

:-)

And now, the weekend begins.

To any of my PbP peeps lurking, I will attempt to actually sit at a real computer this afternoon and update. For now, I gotta go do some shopping

Lata hatas!!!

I just got it! Thanks so much for keeping me in the loop!

Hey Ambrosia Slaad, I just saw the email you sent me about two weeks back - sorry for the late response and thanks for the update!
You're welcome, Mothman. Since you and Freehold aren't on Facebook, both of you should check your emails for an updated final version.

While rolling dice seems like a stupid way to make decisions for a novel. For a really great author anything is possible. I might point out that The Man in the High Castle written by Phillip K. Dick was partially written using the I Ching. Which while more specific than just a dice roll, still takes some big brass ones to make a novel by random.

Never heard of an I Ching. I'm actually not writing a novel. I'm writing short stories that'll be shared as a campaign journal and never published.

I left the coffeepot on all night again. Why? Why?

Frackin' oresome.

Looks like a Treppal blitz.

I just heard that post counts are the XP of the boards, so I better get going.

Haven't looked at Yahtzee in months. Bad me.

Of course, it could be that worthless posts are being cleaned up, which explains why my post count hasn't dropped.

Freakin' cold again today. It's hard to acclimate when we go from 70 to 0 in two days.

I s'pose Grand Magus will start a thread with the link I included above. That always happens. :P

January is dead for toy stores, lemme tellya. I should do inventory.
