Ha!

It's actually a little sluggish on here this evening for me. I may have to clear out my cache to see if that'll make a difference.

Seems kinda cheap, though.

Hey, I like cheap. It's a hollow victory, but it does the job. Now that it has been demystified for you. ;-)

I still like my method. It requires its own amount of cleverness, much sneakier. I'm sure the PMG can appreciate that.

It was working gloriously, too. :D

Woah. I guess that's why 7 wins in craps. No one wants to f+#+ with it.

Hee hee. It generates its own momentum, too.

Also, Urizen, to answer your question from AGES ago, I have the 3 minute hourglass for people who insist on roleplaying certain situations out that could take time away from the rest of the party. Everyone gets 3 minutes for their own personal drama and then it's back to the game itself.

How is that different from the one-minute hourglass? IIRC you said you had two different ones.

Like you said, 1 minute hourglass is for combat confusion specifically- if you need a minute to think about tactics, take that minute. After that, you lose your turn.

So if the person has any inclination to know what they're going to do, they should be thinking about that while the others are going through their own steps in initiative? Gotcha.

I'm also in the market for 30 second and 15 second hourglasses- partially to collect hourglasses, but also because I realize I may be giving people too much time in some circumstances. These hourglasses are VERY rarely used, I bring them out only when people around the table are starting to get obnoxious or really do need a moment to think/roleplay.

Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.
I don't know why I posted it, but that is just bad ass!

Oooo, dang...

Wow what a dumb video.

I know. To me, it was funny dumb, though.

Yes there can be many funny dumb things. I guess when I see a video like that I do not see it as amusement but more along the lines of an attack by someone who missed the entire point. I guess I am too serious. :/
Lighten up, Francis.
