What did I miss?
Well, angry with once again being forced to sit at the "kid's table", Carl thought it would be funny to throw some lit firecrackers under the big table, never realizing just how sensitive Grandpa Joe's bladder was. Meanwhile, the Jones' families annual football game against the McDodders was unexpectedly interrupted by a freak meteor shower. And, across town, several turkeys had escaped and were.....No, wait! That's my Thanksgiving Special soap opera!

It is the first shopping day after Thanksgiving. The day when most if not all shops put their wares on sale for the Christmas Holiday shopping season. Called "black" Friday for a couple of reasons. First because this is the day when most retail companies go from being in debt, "in the red" to being in the "black" or making a profit. The second because people affected to copious amounts of American Football, Holiday specials and a gluttony of food, go bat s&^^%# crazy when attempting to shop when so many deep discounts sales are going on. Especially when such sales are "until supplies last." At which point there is the obligatory news about the lady run over with a shopping cart in some out of the way place in a State you most likely have never visited.

Meh. I went to a mall, and it seemed awful quiet. Of course I waited until 10 am to shop so all the loss leaders were gone. I'm doing most of my Yule gifts online this year

White Necromancer write up in KQ19 by Marc Radle.
I really didn't like it. It basically took a bunch of stuff that has always been considered evil in Pathfinder and declared "It's good, because a white necromancer is doing it." Then it made them spontaneous casters in utter defiance of their own backstory and cobbled together a bunch of random abilities that should have just been new spells.
That's my review in 3 sentences.

I agree; I was looking forward to it.
It should have just been a new specialization for wizards. Give them access to a few cleric spells, throw in a few flavorful specialization powers, and call it a day.

I waited until the afternoon, and it wasn't much busier than normal by then. All the dedicated shoppers had gone home to collapse in bed with their goods by then.
Of course anymore, Christmas decorations go up at about the same time as Halloween decor.
Christmas tree is up too! :)
The star I have is too heavy...can't use it. Very sad.
